    Constructor is the adaptation of a classical tittle that was a success in the 90s. A game of simulation and strategy in real time in which you must do everything to win your adversaries and make yourselves millionaires. In a technical level, it feels short after so many delays and the gameplay it's too demanding, but it will would like to the genre fans that want to live the mafia and corruption from the inside.

    The foundation is rock solid and the premise with its mix of city-building and real-time strategy is still interesting. But the execution lacks finesse, while bugs and a steep learning curve take their toll on the motivation.

    You would think 20 years later this game would be polished and almost perfect, but it isn't, and it makes it harder to get into if you're not a fan of the original title. It keeps the essence, but it can end up being too challenging.

    You’ll think I’m mad, but Constructor does start off as a rather enjoyable experience; plodding away, building little communities, experimenting with the Undesirables. It could be a great game, but then it swiftly all goes downhill.

    Constructor brings to modern consoles some intriguing city building/management concepts, but it results in a lacklustre, bug-ridden and forgettable game due to badly ported controls, lack of contents and an overly repetitive gameplay, at a too-high price.

    Constructor HD was actually delayed multiple times, so System 3 presumably encountered some difficulties in development. Whether that is the explanation for the result, which just barely toes the line of average but gets pulled back down by its price and its launch day DLC, or if it was a bit of a cash grab is anyone’s guess. As it is, this is not worth purchasing.

    Je crois qu'il date un brin le Constructor, d'où cette édition "HD" lors de la sortie du jeu sur consoles. Mais il semble que de toute façon, c'était déjà de la daube sur PC et cette version remaniée est tout aussi catastrophique.

    L'interface est dans l'ensemble très confuse et tellement bordélique que la manette n'y est pour rien ; le mal est plus profond et inhérent à l'organisation du jeu lui-même, de ses mécaniques et de sa présentation. Une présentation d'ailleurs trop cartoonesque qui donne un air stupide à ce foutoir, sans compter la technique en retard d'au moins une bonne génération (oui, c'est vraiment bien laid !).

    Chaque action est si peu intuitive qu'on perd beaucoup de temps, qu'on s'embrouille dans les icônes et les menus, ce qui signifie que la courbe d'apprentissage pour gérer correctement cette bouse est très ardue et que de toute façon, l'IA triche avec allégresse, quand elle ne se fout pas simplement de notre gueule.
