Oct 1, 2014I guess I expected more out of it from all the good reviews I read, but I didn't really like the story and found the art style of the character face's to contrast way to much against the cartoony body models, and the voice acting is just horrible, which is kind of important in a narrative driven game. Overall it just feels like one of those 90's pc point and click games.

Dec 18, 2014Worst game I played in a long long time. Motion controls just don't work. Normal controls are worse. Story is a complete mess. Ugh, I don't want to go on talking about this.

Nov 5, 2014It's basically, "teehee look how weird and quirky I am" the game. Nothing really means anything or has anything to do with anything, just a series of stupid events that combine to form absolutely nothing. Not very good.

Jan 23, 2015Crap animation, no lip sync, long winded meaningless conversation with talking heads.Oh and the music is just plain bad. And the kinect based game play really hurt to watch. And the second episode being 1 hour long... what a joke.

Jun 2, 2015This is just another game where if you do not have a kinect then there is no point to the whole thing because using gamepad is the worst and is boring!!!! The storyline is ok but I wish they gave me more things to do!!

Pelit (Finland)Mar 18, 2015It probably would be more intuitive to play an adventure game with a steering wheel and pedals, when compared to the controls that D4 brings to the table. On top of that, the game is crippled with a stupid hunger minigame, that requires you to hunt food, or else you run out of stamina. The story is quite compelling and the wacky characters try their best to keep the game afloat, but the controls and the core mechanics just aren’t up for the task. [Feb 2015]

Nov 28, 2014Minor issues and short playtime aside, D4 is well worth a look, and one of the few times the “better with Kinect” slogan is appropriate.

games(TM)Nov 17, 2014The story is not the main draw here. [Issue#154, p.124]
