Destiny 2 is all that the veterans of the original game could want. It‘s also a great entry point for the newcomers. An addictive gameplay returns with tens if not hundreds of hours of entertainment. [Issue#278]

I was surprised by how much this new incarnation of Destiny appealed to me. New worlds are brilliantly designed, sound and visuals are top notch, combat feels great (those headshots!). This is how the first Destiny should have looked. [12/2017, p.50]

Destiny 2 returns strongly. The confidence of ex-players will be hard to win with their DLCs policy and a gameplay system that is too similar to the previous one, despite significant improvements. However, it hides one of the best and more entertaining shooters you can find today. The level of addiction it creates in players is insane. The best new IP of this generation is consolidated.

Just when you think you’ve run out of things to do in Destiny 2, the game teases you with an additional 5-10 hours of gameplay. What I’ve reviewed doesn’t even include the additions of Iron Banner, Faction Rally, or the hard mode for the Raid. You’re getting a lot more game this time around.

Destiny 2 rights many of the first game's wrongdoings and results in a stronger launch offering, with a finally compelling narrative experience and a more satisfying progression. What it lacks is greater variety in enemies and locations compared to the first game, so we're once again left hoping in future content.

Destiny 2 is more accessible to the neophytes than the first game was, but still complex enough to get long-time players to invest hundreds of hours in the universe. The story of the campaign is less confused than in the original, but it’s not exactly good either. It went from painstakingly bad to ordinary, which is at least an improvement. Destiny 2 is the gaming equivalent of a Michael Bay movie.

Like many of the 10 scores, I am giving this game a 10 because as a direct response to the 0 ratings. I honestly haven't played a zero game, but I have to say most games are not on the level of Destiny 2. I would say, for most people, the game would be rated between 7-9. Expand

The weapon system is much better and progression is less grindy. Example guns and armor come fully upgraded. The new subclasses are good but some are eerily similar to destiny 1. After beating the raid a handful of times I feel like the end game is lacking. The raid can easily be beaten in 2 hours start to finish with a decent group, as long as you have the right gear. I beat the raid on my first try in 5 hours and now usually beat it in a hour and a half if all goes well. Its pretty easy since there is only one boss, that's right one. All the other phases are mazes or things your fireteam does as a unit just while clearing tons of ads. So your literally taking down groups of infantry with a few yellow elites thrown in here and there the whole raid till you finally hit Calus. It does make for good loot however the prestige raid loot is not worth it at all. That's the only reason I'm not giving it a 10. I was really hoping it would do more to make the raid more difficult as well as give better rewards. Then again day one destiny 2 beats the stank off of vanilla destiny 1. Expand

The story had no memorable or inspiring moments and just felt like they forced it so the game would at least have a story, unlike Destiny 1. All "planets" have 2-3 "areas' (i.e..roads) that they use for all 6-8 quest each has. Not a true open-world as they claim it to be; the maps seem smaller than Destiny 1 but use the same nascar type (big circle) mapping that was used for every planet in the 1 title. They are heavily pushing microtransactions that walk the line of being pay-to-win. If you for some reason enjoyed the first Destiny then I'm certain you would enjoy this copy/paste supposed sequel that is not much more than a glorified, over-priced, DLC. But even then I would wait until the game goes 50% off before I would buy it. If you did not enjoy Destiny 1 then I highly suggest you not spend the money as you will just end up with buyers remorse when you realise this game is nothing more than an Activision & Bungie microtransaction/DLC money making attempt at a game. Solo seguía jugando a este juego para jugar con mis amigos y no malgastar mi dinero. Expand
