Disintegration is a fresh and original game. Although its RTS aspect is poorly used and its environments are somewhat restrictive, its spectacular battles and the potential of its universe, make the first game from V1 Interactive successfully integrate into the shooter market.

Disintegration is not an essential product or the game of the month, but it certainly offers something different in the catalogue.

Neat shooter strategy mix, which leaves a lot of room for a possible successor.

Restrictive nuances in both single player and multiplayer prevent players from having as much fun as they could – and at points even make Disintegration feel shallow – but the FPS/RTS fusion on genres works to a point; neither feels more predominant than the other, but then neither feel fully formed either.

Disintegration seems like it would have been my jam, but it proved to be the complete opposite. There’s a lot of squandered potential in both this title and the franchise itself, and I hope that V1 Interactive is able to salvage this release in the weeks to come. Some much needed focus will greatly improve the package.

Disintegration is an interesting mix of action and strategy. Although the emphasis is on action, the gameplay still feels unique enough to make the game stand out in an enjoyable way. In the end, however, the game falls short of its potential; there is just too many flaws and limitations. If you think the concept looks exciting Disintegration is still worth a try, at least after a few updates and when the price tag has been reduced.

Basically, this game is beyond worth it!
It has rough patches that are easily overlooked due to the non-impact it has on your gameplay and/or story-telling,
the innovative gameplay takes just a while to get used to, it's pretty easy to control once you give it a go a few times (there is a tutorial before either the multiplayer or singleplayer)
the only difficulty gameplay-wise is the different teams in multiplayer since they all have different stats and abilities, but there you can test them before playing.

overall... this is a game that I have been waiting for, for a long time!
maybe it's just the coincidence of mixing stuff I love, but I do love this game!

I do hope for more in the future, V1interactive gave the first step, lets hope for many more in this journey!

It just shows up and isn't terrible, but also isn't blowing your socks off or anything either. Hell I can even see people loving this game; just not me. This first person shooter drops you into a world where humans put their consciousness into robots and of course evil robots are trying to take control. That's basically the crux of the story. You play as this robot who flies around on this hovercraft that has machine guns attached to it. Sounds cool right? It is until you also have to play nanny to the ground troops and that is where the fun turns into stress. You need to keep these a-holes alive so the entire game turns into this escort mission that seems to drag on forever. Surely you get to fight interesting enemies right? No somehow in this world of robo-people every enemy looks the same with a dash of color to make them "different". Last thing to bring up is the online which is 4 vs 4 matches that take the babysitting from the story and adds it to multiplayer. I was never so overwhelmed while playing a multiplayer game in my life. If you nails this down you will dominate against idiots like me who can't multitask to save their life. It isn't terrible, but if you really need to check it out I would wait for it to be $10 at least. Expand

Putain.
