The wait is over. In your hot little hands, you hold the biggest badest Doom ever - DOOM II: Hell on Earth! This time, the entire forces of the netherworld have overrun Earth. To save her you must descend into the sstygian depths of Hell itself!

Battle mightier, nastier deadlier demons and monsters. Use more powerful weapons. Sruvive more mind-blowing explosions and more of the bloodiest, fiercest, most awesome blastfest ever!

The 3-D modelling and texture bit-mapping technologies push the envelope out to the max. The graphics, animation, sound effects and gameplay are so virtually unrealistic, they're unbelievable.

Play DOOM II solo, with two people over a modem, or with up to four players over a LAN (supporting IPX protocol). No matter which way you choose, get ready for adrenaline-pumping, action-packed excitement that's sure to give your heart a real workout.

It must be tough to keep reading - what with your hands trembling in sheer anticipation. So we'll stop talking now to let you this box to the counter.

DOOM II. It's time to get obsessed again.

Doom II (Classic) on Xbox One is a solid FPS being very much more of the same, which many will argue is a good thing. However, the campaign isn’t quite as well paced as the original and therefore the magic may wear off for some.

Doom II is the follow up to the first-person shooter video game Doom developed by id Software and published by Bethesda. The follow upDoom II is the follow up to the first-person shooter video game Doom developed by id Software and published by Bethesda. The follow up features even more deadlier demons and monsters. Use more powerful weapons. Survive more mind-blowing explosions and more of the bloodiest, fiercest, most awesome gore-fests. I don’t care if it is 24 years old and pixelated, it’s just as awesome as it was back in the 1990’s as it is today. Just like the basics of any FPS game, you get a set of weapons, a bunch of enemies and then you empty your shells, cells, batteries, etc. upon them. Doom is just this. There's only you and demons. Receiving another breath of life the chance to relive this gem of the past is yours minus any online play that has been made available in previous versions of this classic masterpiece that paved the road for many games to follow. Doom, as you likely already know, a very fast-paced FPS with little story to tell, but with a lot of other things that can, and will appeal people looking for simple but by no means easy gameplay. I recommend Doom II to anyone who enjoys FPS games. This re-release is priced very low and any fan or newcomer will enjoy adding this gem to their Xbox One library, too bad we didn’t get the enjoyment of the online play as an added bonus. Expand
