Ganbare! Super Strikers is a fun arcade-style tactical football RPG game. For those familiar, it is akin to playing a light version of Inazuma Eleven, but with little to no storyline. It is quite fun to play but it is incredibly short, though the option is there for you play this locally with a friend. This could be great for those that like tactical strategy RPGs, especially if you’re a football fan, and is very simple to pick up and play.

Super Strikers is a Tactics RPG Turn-Based Strategy Football (Soccer for those who don't call it that) Game with an Anime feel. Ganbare blends all of these worlds together into a neat, and fun package. You begin the Career mode by making your player, including your team crest, and uniform. You'll be able to Name your player, and your team, the rest of your team is granted to you. The game is played on a grided field, and teams take turns moving their players and vying for control of the ball. Every game you play will grant your team experience, the levels you gain from this increase your teams' stats, and in turn their ability on the field. My favorite part is the players' abilities, granted from meeting certain goals during your matches. These abilities can cause 10 status effects against your opponents, including freezing them or reducing their stats. Ganbare! Super Strikers is all about strategy, placing your team so you can make a goal. Pitting your stats against your opponents and using your abilities, you'll dribble, pass, and tackle your way to victory! I'm not a fan of sports games personally, but Ganbare! Super Strikers won a place in my heart with its' RPG elements and Anime aesthetics. Ratalaika Games dropped a winner here! Full Review »
