Feb 28, 2019Nine years may have passed since LEGO Harry Potter first released, but the games still feel as fresh and enjoyable as when they debuted. If you didn't know that LEGO Harry Potter Collection was a remaster, it would be easy to mistake it for a new release. The only real downside has to do with those who own the original Xbox 360 games. Since they've been withheld from BC, if you want to replay these on the Xbox One, you'll have to buy the LEGO Harry Potter Collection.

Nov 9, 2018In some areas (most notably the lack of voiceover) you can recognize the age of the originals. But with its slightly different, more puzzle and exploration oriented approach to the Lego formula the trip to Hogwarts still stands out.

Dec 14, 2018LEGO Harry Potter Collection does not offer many extras aside from a visual upgrade. But this is one of the most atmospheric LEGO- games ever made and TT Games is amazing when it comes to making even the sometimes dark Harry Potter stories light and fun.

Nov 21, 2018LEGO Harry Potter doesn't bring anything new to the LEGO-formula, but the Harry Potter world is still great. Characters feel unique even though casting spells isn't always fun. Thanks to the music and coop you'll forget about that quickly though.

Nov 30, 2018Did we really need the LEGO Harry Potter Collection? No. Is it worth giving it a look and taking a trip down memory lane? Sure, why not… but the cheaper option of buying the originals is also a viable option.
-
Nov 5, 2018The LEGO Harry Potter Collection takes players back to LEGO game basics; before voice overs, before depth, before polish, and before just about everything else that makes the current formula so widely appealing. That said, this collection is well worth a trip if you enjoy the source material. There’s magic, there’s humor, and there’s a lot of fun fan service to soak up here, if little else.

Jan 7, 2019For anyone out there who is a fan of Harry Potter, LEGO, and videogames, LEGO Harry Potter Collection just might be the safest bet imaginable. Both titles within are overflowing with Traveller's Tales' affection for charming production values and easily-accessible gameplay, and Xbox One's enhanced frame-rate and resolution breathes new life into what was already a lovingly-crafted world. The formula does wear itself thin at times, and players might even feel like they're just going through the motions, yet it's doubtful that they'll ever regret their days spent at LEGO Hogwarts.
