Mafia III: Definitive Edition - Official Launch Trailer
Positive: 0 out of 3
Mixed: 3 out of 3
Negative: 0 out of 3
May 29, 2020While not anywhere near as glitch ridden as the Mafia II remaster, Mafia III: Definitive Edition adds nothing more than the previously released DLC along with the very strange removal of Xbox One X support that was added to the original release after launch. Lincoln Clay's story is well worth experiencing a first time, but there is no real reason to venture back to New Bordeaux with this latest release as part of the Mafia Trilogy.
Jun 28, 2020Mafia III: Definitive Edition on Xbox One has distinct charm in its narrative, world-building and conceptualised understanding of socio-politics and the military-industrial complex but, ironically enough, it fails in its combat and general movement. Whilst it is clear a great deal of care has gone into its writing, I wish I could say the same for its gameplay.

This game is a mess on 1 X ,, even after it's apparently been patched a bunch of times.. I experienced worse bugs and glitches in this than FO76..Sound disappearing, the clouds jumping like a slide show, pathing issues, you shoot people and there no reaction.....It's a fkn mess. Character model are just embaresing..Men look fine for some reason but woman,, woman look like Aliens from planet balloon.. They are all ugly and fat!!! Why??? Idk, but I bet Anita Sarkesian could explain it..
Last problem is the game is badly designed, the missions are frustrating , not fun..Unbalanced and broken..
Personally I am going to try and believe this games doesn't exist..The first 2 games were great, it's a shame to end like this..… Expand

Basically game runs smooth for about 10 minutes then shuts down. One of only 3 games I've had this issue with, the other two being mafia 2 definitive and LA Noire. At least with the last two it takes hours before it shuts down. Don't believe anyone giving this game above a 4 rating. It's broken to the point of unplayable.… Expand
