A stellar fighting game and is one of the best ones ever made in my opinion. The depth and variety it offers are unparalleled, even by the likes of Injustice 2, another NetherRealm creation. There are so many characters to customize and master — with many more on the horizon — which should keep you enthralled for months to come.

NetherRealm has made Mortal Kombat 11 a must for lovers of the fighting genre. Its incredible gameplay, its great graphic finish and its cinematographic history make it a serious candidate for one of the best games of the genre of this generation.

It’s a rare fighting game that hits just about every note as strongly as Mortal Kombat 11 does. Everything from its methodical and deep combat to its fantastically absurd story mode and its rock-solid netcode, right down to its extraordinarily comprehensive tutorial is absolutely exceptional.

Streamlined mechanics keep the act of fighting furiously exciting no matter what your skill level, and comprehensive tutorials encourage you to dig into the nitty-gritty. There's a diverse roster of interesting characters and playstyles, and the story mode is an entertaining romp. The randomization of Krypt rewards and the odd issue with the game's always-online nature can occasionally chip away at your patience, but Mortal Kombat 11 absolutely hits where it matters.

Mortal Kombat 11 delivers on what you would expect from the acclaimed long running series of iconic blood-soaked fisticuffs. The end result, despite a painful grind, offers a solid experience that looks great, feels amazing, and succeeds in keeping the franchise alive and revitalized, yet again. If you’re looking for one of the gen’s next best fighters, get over here!

Yet this is comfortably the best Mortal Kombat in a long time. Played competitively against another person, it’s great, and the single-player experience is the most accomplished of any recent fighter.

Mortal Kombat 11 has some design issues, but overall I enjoyed my time and I can sincerely say I'm looking forward to the inevitable sequel.

A bit cheesy but overall a great reboot of an arcade classic! Worth at least renting to check it out.

Not only has NRS MOCKED THEIR FANBASE, but they have took MK and turned it into a complete mess of political agenda. Not only that their design choices are the worst. Females look like men and nothing like how they used to. They even go to the extent and give other characters that are not in the game their special signature moves probably because of lack of design and creativity. NRS and WB have hit a new low with this game by attacking the consumer and not their staff. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a lot of returns because the gameplay is not what it once was. They really hit an all time new low. Don’t ask them for classic characters either they will mock you all over Twitter Facebook and Instagram. They seriously need to get their act together. Expand

To start, the game has horrible fighting mechanics, scrub rewarding and noob friendly garbage. Fatal blows literally reward people for losing and some characters have busted krushing blows. The game is far from balanced and seems to have the idea of a risk/reward system completely backwards. The roster sucks, like, who wanted Jacqui and Cassie in for another game instead of Takeda or Ernac or some other actual cool character. Literally no fun game modes, Towers of Time still isn’t fun, just a bunch of annoying modifiers that don’t make sense like darkness modifiers and chaos modifiers. Aftermath is a waste of $40, which is overpriced as hell. You’re getting 3 **** characters and a story mode that isn’t even half the size of the original story mode and they have the audacity to make it $40. Like I said, no fun game modes like tag team or test your might or anything. I could go on all day as to why this game sucks but I don’t have time. So just take this. Expand
