We enjoyed Override: Mech City, it's not the best fighting game, but is a solid one. With not many flaws, its determination to make a rendition to all the genre classics make difficult to see in the game something new or original.

Override: Mech City Brawl suffers from some minor framerate issues and the occasional character-specific bug that, once present, quite literally puts a stopper on your game. Despite those problems, Override is pleasantly accessible and goes on to provide structural depth, combat diversity, and heaps of action-packed, fun, and exhilarating moments from the get-go. This is one brawler that’s fit for the whole family.

It’s acutely aware of its own silliness, even giving you the option to unlock (no, there are no microtransactions here) different colours and ridiculous accessories for your foe.

While there’s certainly room for improvement in Override, the game is undeniably fun in an old-school arcade way. It’s not as fast and fluid as classics like Sega’s Virtua On!, but the premise is excellent, the character designs are gorgeous, and the action is addicting.

If you're buying Override as a single player game, you'll most likely get bored with it rather quickly like I did. The arcade mode is decent, but it gets boring very quickly. I didn't find the overall gameplay that fun, but I have to admit that the game definitely has a lot of attack variety and the control setup is quite good for choosing between all moves in your arsenal. The game mainly shines when it comes to the amount of match variety you can have while playing with friends.

A lower-tier fighting game that mech fans may nonetheless appreciate.

If you’re looking to jump in as a fan of the brawler scene, there are many other options out there that already do the job much better. Unfortunately, with little to keep players interested and overly simplistic options dominating the more complex potential of the game, Override: Mech City Brawl is one fight we’ve already forgotten about.

Great graphics and great robot design.
You can play online battle with your friends and you can also fight A.I. monsters in arcade story mode.
A surprisingly fun game with this reasonable price? Yes Yes Yes! 10 out of 10!

One of the best Rampage type games! I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves the Monster and Mech genre!

You can tell right from the get go that a lot of thought and effort has been placed into the presentation side of the game and it stays like that throughout. I was very impressed with the online side of the game because it had very few problems and I was easily able to get into a game. The gameplay on the whole is a very fun experience and no game ever plays out the same way meaning there’s action a plenty to be had at all times. There’s a lots of collectibles for you to obtain during your time with the game which does give the game even more in terms of replay abiilty. Unfortunately the game suffers with a few technichal issues and bugs every now and then.
The story mode left a lot to be desired and nothing much really stood out here. Ovveride: Mech City Brawl caught my attention from the moment I first saw it and I thought to myself if done well I can see myself battling with these huge mech’s for some time to come. Thankfully I’m pleased to say that the game has been done really well and even though it does suffer with a few technichal issues and bugs here and there this did little to dampen the fun factor. In fact you tend to forget about these issues due to the action-packed nature of the game, which might I add never seems to get dull or boring. As you can imagine then I was pleased to find that the game has a generous amount of content, and whilst the story mode was a bit of a let down everything else was great. I was especially impressed with the online components of the game because there were very few issues here and finding a game was never a problem which is great. This then meant that the replaybilty stayed high throughout my time with the game and the collectibles present means that I will return back to the game time and time again as well. At the end of the day then if you love action-packed combat that always remains exciting then Ovveride: Mech City Brawl is a must buy and hopefully the developers keep improving things along the way because I can see a lot of promise with this title.

Today it has become a rarity, except for Override: Mech City Brawl. This is a okay fighting game that doesn´t invent anything original or new to this genre. Sure, if you play it with a friend, you´ll have a pretty good time, but the single-player is just boring. It also has some issues with framerate and bugs. This brawler is mediocre! Expand
