Party Hard 2 is a brilliant sequel. Pinokl Games have improved things significantly, from the graphics and play style, to the objectives that can be completed as an alternative to killing everyone. The pace is much faster and offering multiple ways to finish a stage makes it far more enjoyable. But hey, you can still go crazy and kill everyone, just don’t forget to DANCE!

If you enjoyed the original Party Hard and want some more killing spree action then you can't go wrong with Party Hard 2 on Xbox One. There is a whole host of content and multiple different ways to approach each level; that in itself will keep die-hard fans happy for a long while.

I had a decent enough time with Party Hard, and I look forward to replaying some of the levels to mop up the rest of the 1000 points in achievements. It is a pretty fun game to just pick up and play and have a laugh seeing what sort of ways you can interact with the environment and its characters. If you are looking for a stealth assassin game you might want to check out the Hitman series, or if you are looking for a crazy murder spree then you might be better off playing Hotline Miami. Poor AI of both the police and the innocent people tends to ruin the core gameplay loop, which is to get in, murder, get out and repeat. When the basic premise of a game is ruined by something that is outside of the players control it leads to a frustrating experience.

Party Hard 2 is definitely a step up from the original but it's still plagued with dumb AI and gameplay that can be rather tedious at times.

Party Hard 2 is an ingenious action game, but it is not limited to giving you a weapon and setting a target, but rather it presents you with a situation with multiple objectives from which you will not be able to emerge victorious unless you understand that the basic mechanics is a puzzle system and strategy. Although, it is worth adding, it has a component of randomness that is sometimes quite frustrating. It is an entertaining game, which, however, becomes repetitive very soon, exhausting its formula in a few levels.

Really great sequel ! kept the style while also improving it alot. Was worried I wouldn't like the graphics in a revamp cause the 8-bit suits it so much. Great music (obvsly), much harder than the first game tho ! Added alot of new mechanics that were missing from the first. Levels vary alot more in their mechanics and there's an actual story (wowza). Tbh dont think it needed a story just cause of the kind of game it is but it gave the oppertunity to do some really fun stuff ! Would 100% reccomend. The only things I dont like are the story.... its WAY too serious for a game like this. He's just a dude who wants some sleep. The whole 'inner darius' thing was really stupid tbh. I p much just ignored the story the whole time. Dont play if u like to rampage tho cus its literally impossible to hide from police unless you have stun guns and stuff. I was a gigantic fan of the original game and this game is just as enjoyable to me on the Xbox One. Expand
