This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Final Fantasy XV : Platinum Demo is a game that is supposed to tease the fans on how the game will work. Naturally, it is supposed to be good and this is pretty good. I found the beginning piece where Noctis, as a kid, was a little too long. It had me slightly interested and bored as well. It did indeed show off how the game engine worked, but it just didn't captivate me.
Towards the end of the demo, you turn into adult/teen Noctis and begin to fight a giant boss. It was not a difficult fight, but it did have me killed once or twice. The game was short, and interesting but didn't want me to play more. It is free, and i would advise to play it just to try it out. Don't expect much variety in this demo though because it does not give you anything.

The art work, disappointingly, is also mediocre. It's not very engaging and is sort of lacking with the removal of a complete JRPG combat style. If the next FF is a lot like this, I don't know if i could be bothered.
