Stay low and leave no traces in this third game of the tactical shooter franchise. Set in a modern day conflict based in Eastern Europe, players in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will be thrust into the role of a sniper caught between three warring factions, played out in a realistic and immersive environment. Dig deep into the Ghost Warrior DNA as you choose between taking out your targets up close or from a distance, while at the same time focusing on your survival through evasion and stealth. Non-linear, sandbox-style gameplay on large open-ended maps gives players the flexibility to play and replay the missions in a number of different ways. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will offer intriguing challenges for tactically-minded gamers, while still remaining accessible to first-person shooter fans.

A solid open world tactical shooter, with good mission variety and depth. It disappoints in the technical and story departments, though; it partially feels like a missed opportunity, but definitely a step in the right direction for the series.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is the best entry in the series yet... but again, it's not good enough. The open world feels great after the last (awful) campaign, and it has more content on offer than ever, but it forgets its roots and turns into a Far Cry wannabe. Also, it has graphical issues, repeats the same things all along and turns boring. We'll miss multiplayer.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a game of two halves. If you can look past the glitches, there’s a good game fighting to get out, and one with a lot to offer. This is a big game, and with the free roam map and variety of approaches that can be taken, one that offers a lot to the player. However, glitches that require a mission to be restarted, or for you to fast travel out of the area to get out of them, are not really on in this day and age. It is due to these that I have had to really think about my final score – do I score on potential or actual experience? In the end – as usual – I’ve had to put my actual experiences ahead. If CI Games manage to patch out the glitches, this game will easily get a half or full point more. But without it, it can be classed as nothing but average.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a broken experience on Xbox One. If the multitude of bugs and horrendous frame rate were fixed, the game would be quite enjoyable as a lower-budget Far Cry 4. As it stands, however, the games needs excessive patching before it becomes a viable experience to charge $60 for. CI Games need to release a patch as soon as possible on Xbox One.

The game might be fun at times. But it is mostly unpolished and weak in content. As such, it is best to just avoid it.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is misguided by the unending trend of games going open-world. The idea may have been born with good intentions, but blatantly copying all of another series' structure is a bad look, undone much further by the fact that it does all of those same things very poorly. It's unclear for whom this game was made as it feels more like a middling title we rarely see anymore, possessing neither the polish of AAA nor the admirable quirks of an indie. It's a narrative bore, a technical dilemma, and a structural collapse. If fun was ever in the crosshairs, the subsequent shot is way off target.

I did just pick this one up recently (early reviews totally burned it down due to lots of bugs etc.) and i absolutely love it. Some things could be better / more polished maybe but the game/gameplay is fantastic! If you like MGS V or Ghost Recon Wildlands this might be the game for you. And in comparioson with the other game which was released at the same time (Sniper Elite..) this actually is a "sniper" game! I can only wish for a part 4 with the budget the AAA developers have... Sniper: Ghost Warrior has been an interesting if flawed series thus far with three entries to its name. While the first game was beyond mediocre and the second improved upon the formula in many ways but still didn’t offer much in the way of quality, the third time may actually be the charm for City Interactive. It’s by no means a perfect game but it is well on its way to being a decently good one and presumably once the upcoming patches hit and hopefully fix some of the glaring issues, we may finally see a competent modern day stealth-sniper title to rival the WWII and Cold War settings of Sniper Elite.

When all things have been said and done, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 surpasses it predecessors with ease but still doesn’t feel like it’s quite lived up to its potential or what it means to be a current generation game. It’s a competent and interesting experience and hardly a bad one, however it is remarkably hindered by a lot of technical issues and by the inability to capitalize one what could’ve been excellent additions in both depth and replayability. The main experience is well-done but the side content offers little in the way of recompense for a lack of reason to return once you’ve finished the linear mission structure.

Concept: City Interactive crafts their third entry in the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series and brings the series into both the current generation as well as the thoroughly over-saturated open world shooter market.

Graphics: Although it utilizes a version of Crytek’s CryEngine, Ghost Warrior 3 features some prominent graphical hiccups despite having really realistic and well-done visuals whereas weather and some environmental aspects are concerned at times.

Sound: For a game about stealth, sound plays an integral role in the experience at least in terms of gameplay. Outside of that however, there isn’t much to be said for the soundtrack itself although it does ratchet up the tension at some appropriate times. The sound design isn’t the best as far as voice acting goes but the sounds of bullets dropping and weapons and gadgets clicking isn’t too shabby.

Playability: It’s fairly simple to grasp the fundamentals for a basic runthrough of the game. As far as the controls themselves go, the game handles surprisingly smoothly and fluidly despite technical hiccups breaking up the pacing here and there at any given time.

Entertainment: Despite its flaws, Ghost Warrior 3 is as entertaining as games like Far Cry and Sniper Elite have proven to be for many of the same reasons. It’s not altogether original in what it seeks to accomplish and yet it seems to have aped the correct gimmicks and elements of those respective games enough to present a varied and entertaining main campaign.

    Replay Value: Moderate.

GHOST WARRIOR 3 is clearly aiming at the new Far Cry. And games are really remotely similar, but GHOST WARRIOR 3 is not Far Cry, it's not even Wildland. I got more pleasure from Wildland. But these games are different budgets.
City Interactive tried, but the game is not optimized out and boring. We used to interesting worlds Ubisoft, GHOST WARRIOR 3, the world is completely empty and not interesting. You don't want to learn it, and just ride from job to job. Georgia they came out beautiful, but it's too grey landscapes that you depressing. In the same Far Cry 4 was much petee ride and admire the scenery. Here everything is gray and dull.
In this game we can quietly kill enemies with a sniper rifle or loudly barge in and kill all of the machine. Sniper gameplay I like, we need to calculate the distance to the target, but if hit in the head, pluchery slowmo when the bullet in slow motion pierces the skull of an enemy. Ballistics in the game are normal. Here, the weapons felt.
The plot of the game is. Developers sometimes even try to present a drama or reveal the relationship of the protagonist and his girlfriend. But the game has no really interesting characters, and silently kill enemies from a sniper rifle or noisy machine can be in the same Far Cry. GHOST WARRIOR 3 loses creature Ubisof in all respects, and I just don't see the point to play GHOST WARRIOR 3, if you have Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Even if you played these games, that GHOST WARRIOR 3 will be a poor substitute - you will quickly get bored. If you want to buy up to the 75% discount, it is not longer necessary.
In addition to ballistics and sniper rifles I liked the animation. When the hero karapetsas, realistic touches, klogd edit in the car includes the ignition key and so on. The game has such nice things, but it's boring and not optimized.

On the constructive side, loading times are really long for a modern console game - I don't understand how this was released with this issue considering this isn't a massive 'The Witcher" style game. There are also a few graphical glitches like pop-in, but critic reviews have been too harsh on the visuals overall. Sound is also dodgy - I cleared a camp and then minutes later the sound from that camp (miles away) were still playing.
On the positive - the game works. Sniping is fun, gunplay is solid and missions are varied. The map also allows side operations and treasure hunts so there is plenty to do, I just wish CI Games but a lot more polish into the game. It was already delayed - so why not hold out until it is a great game and therefore receives better reviews? Making the season pass "free" was a nice move though.
With SO many great games this year, I'm not sure whether I'll keep or return this game, especially with Prey released today. For people who like more strategic shooters, or a slower pace then say, COD, I'm sure you will get something out of it. There was a day one patch of 8.6Gb(!!!) which I hoped improved some of the critics reviews but it didn't seem to, but CI Games still has time to patch more but it may be too late for some purchasers.
Worth a go, but maybe buy it when it's cheaper.

The 3d rendering engine does not deliver what they promise!
Im using a 4k ultra HD LED TV with Xbox one
Multiplayer is what I wanted it for - it has been the biggest let down ever on any game Ive had
constant crashing - freezing - crashes always with host migrations
Its so annoying that I end up switching off the console
to "home" and going back to call of duty

Im sorry but the very first Sniper Ghost warrior is ten times better
Im going back to playing that
and even Ghost warrior 2 is a better multiplayer

    I regret buying this game
and feel Ive wasted my money
