The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game ends up being a relatively small step forward for Lego games, but is an excellent use of the Ninjago license, making its high-flying ninjas feel powerful and unique.

It’s a LEGO game alright, and these small but meaningful changes make it one of the better titles in the collection. Even if the Ninjago franchise doesn’t interest you as much as Batman or Marvel Superheroes might, the gameplay and signature LEGO humour makes The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame well worth jumping into.

A new video game adaptation of an animated movie with the most famous miniature construction games. The LEGO Ninjago Movie: The videogame takes up the strong points that have made the saga so great, reinforcing them with juicy novelties.

A fun game that may be appealing to those who have enjoyed previous LEGO Games, with a few new features and a bunch of "more of the same" moments.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game introduces a decent number of new features to keep the tried and tested LEGO formula up to date. Combat has received another overhaul, adding in an extra layer of depth with upgrades and extravagant attack moves, so it looks much slicker than previous entries. These moves can be put to the test in the enjoyable distraction of the Battle Arenas, which are best experienced with friends. The change in level design may feel unusual at first, but it is refreshing nonetheless even if it does also mean that the game is a short one. Technical issues, most notably loading screens, do also hinder the experience somewhat, but it shouldn't put too much of a dampener on your playthrough as a whole. LEGO fans will no doubt find another fun adventure within, even if it may be over in a flash.

These games are always fun, and we've seen an attempt to introduce some news ideas, but they are never fully executed. If you've played many other games in the series you feel like it's time to have some new additions.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game isn’t the best Traveller’s Tales offering, but the great combat and the creative ideas to try something new are what prevents it from being a terrible game. Maybe buy it in the sale, but definitely don’t pay full price.

The biggest difference in this game is that the minikits and "true X" status for each of the levels is gone. Originally I didn't like it but later it made sense and I enjoyed it more, not having to replay levels. Unlike the other games this one has each "level" be a part of the open world city. So unlike the previous games this one really doesn't need a replay. You simply find the items you're looking for in the open world.

Also, unlike the previous games, this one has far less stuff to do which means they are better overall and not the filler we're used to seeing. Fortunately there are also only a couple of times you need to deal with the horrific vehicle controls. For the most part it is just collecting the standard stuff.

Overall I found this to be one of the easier LEGO games which means it is great for kids. I didn't really understand or care about the "combat moves" that were introduced. I just button mashed and things broke. The various unlocks are also not at all useful. But overall it was fun.

There are some bugs like we've seen in previous games. I've fallen through the scenery a couple of times and had a crash once. The newer problems include a noticeable stall after a cutscene which only impacts one of the characters. Switching to the other and back solves the issue. Additionally there are cases where mission start indicators won't appear unless you reload the area. Some races cannot be started unless you switch to another character. But, beyond the bugs, this was a good and short game.

I wish TT would create more games like this (or remaster the originals for Xbox).

On the whole the game can be very enjoyable at times, but it’s not one of the best LEGO games ever and it can be lacking at times. The world they have created for this game is brilliant and it feels alive in all areas. There is always something for you to do and the characters are very interesting. The characters would have been even better with better voice acting, but unfortunately they miss the mark here. The biggest inclusion in this game is the couch co-op versus mode, which is something I have wanted for a while. Thankfully they’ve done this mode justice and it delivers an incredible amount of fun time and time again. There is plenty for you to explore in this game and they do a good job of making exploring feel rewarding with gold bricks etc. Unfortunately when exploring you will find that the loading times seem to go on forever and this definitely frustrates you, a patch is needed here in my opinion. The combat in the game has seen a vast improvement, and the new moves they have included definitely pack a punch. The combat would have been even better if it wasn’t for the awkward camera. The camera can be a big problem at times and it caused me many frustrating moments when on a mission. At the end of the day as far as LEGO games go The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is a good addition to the genre, but unfortunately it’s not one of the most memorable LEGO games. It does have some interesting and different ideas, but it’s plagued with a few niggling problems that can cause you a great deal of frustration. Fans of the LEGO games will however definitely find enjoyment here and it does just enough to get a thumbs up from me. Expand

    The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame
Almost getting it all the way right
In LEGO Ninjago you play as a variety of Ninjas out to save Ninjago form being destroyed be the evil Lord Garmadon
Though the story focuses mostly on the green ninja Lloyd and his connection with Garmadon
The campaign stretches to just a little over 6 hours and is one of the most enjoyable LEGO game campaigns I’ve played through…
I’ve only played through a handful of Lego games with Lego city being my favorite…
and Lego ninjago fixes many of the problems I’ve had with this game series for the most part…
This game is much more combat focused than what you’d be used to from a Lego game
you can do a variety of combos and moves fill up a multiplier to get more studs for golden bricks and complete tasks around the ninjago world and the combat actually feels decently enjoyable...
it feels a bit like a 3d sonic game as you’re dashing from one enemy to the next trying to stun them and pull off crazy finishers..
My favorite part about all of this though is that combat for the most part can be completely ignored if you want to…
This game isn’t padded out just for the sake of it... finally a Lego game that doesn’t feel like a time wasting chore…
level progressing is perfectly paced aside from the final few chapters in the game where things start to slow down a bit..
You’ll be activating switches with your different party members, using their different ninjitsu moves to break through walls or freeze waterfalls for example as each ninja is attached to its own element...
and levels here all feel varied and look different…
it feels like a true adventure trying to save ninjago from destruction with the occasional vehicle based missions and bosses to change the gameplay up just a little bit
There is a constant way point on screen so you know where to go, again not wasting your time..
however where things can be better is that things get a little annoying when the game throws more than 2 characters into your party…
when it’s time for a certain character to do a move to progress they’ll jump up and down, but the quick swap doesn’t automatically jump to them… and I just don’t like the flow break that is bringing up the quick select menu…
sure at times it would switch to the right character…. But I feel this and again the game’s final stretch are the only things that make this game feel a bit chorey at times…
and of course there are collectibles in each level for you to come back to when you unlock other ninjas as you play like golden bricks and character bags, there are mini hub areas with side quests and races.. You can create your own character…
The cut scenes here are charming, there are a few great jokes and touching moments…
though I found the story to ultimately be very forgettable and I did run into a bug where there was no dialog in the final cut scene so I had to watch it on YouTube...
But aside from a few hiccups I found this to be a solid game
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this game as much as I ultimately did…
I’m happy the game focuses more on platforming with its post hopping and wall running than its usual break everything until Legos hop around and then build and move on format like the past…
those moments are still here but not as frequent as they used to be
the game keeps going and I want to see more like this one
    I give
    The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame
    a 7/10

Y con la posibilidad de conseguir logros fáciles si consigue engancharte lo suficiente.

En la parte mala, una historia que apenas se comprende porque, supongo, debe de estar recortada respecto a la película en que se basa.
