A very good Trials-game, when it sticks to driving. The completely unnecessary platforming sections are simply dull. [Aug 2016]
It's got a great gateway due to the story's ties to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, the flashy neon art, the constant pop-culture references, and fantastic techno score. Just realize that the shooting is bad and that you may come down from this high way earlier than you'd expect. But if this is your first Trial, know that there's lots more to consume.

Super fun, cool art direction, too short. If you like the trials games this is tons of fun, maybe not as hard but still satisfying. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews,

Already an established fan of the Trials series of games? Then there's a high odds chance you'll enjoy this corny Trials side project. A lil on the easy side, but fun. Again, if u enjoy Trials, it's kinda hard 2 hate on this title..... and I hated Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Don't worry, it's nothing like that worthless game.

Trials of the Blood Dragon serves both properties well in its design and story, but the gameplay is overall inconsistent as the title tries to expand beyond basic Trials.
About 60 per cent of Trials of the Blood Dragon is wicked barmy brilliance...Alas, the less said about the remaining 40 per cent the better.
If the entire game was more platforming and less motorcycles and vehicles, it had potential to be entertaining.
We'd much rather play the awful unicorn levels in [Trials] Fusion's Awesome Level Max DLC, which probably ranks among the most damning things we've ever said about a game. [Issue#296, p.123]
has 2 separated gameplay part, first the clasical motorcycles tirals and second is a classical platforming game without controlling motorcycles , sure in hell i'm gonna be honest but the second part of the game is absolutly **** !! worst control that i've ever seen , you can die and die so many times not becouse you're not good at the game,couse the control specially the system of jumping is out,made me damn pissed off and i just uninstall the game

This game is bad the story is **** the voices are so freaking cringe worthy and i didn't find it entertaining i can't believe i spent 15 euros thinking hey this looks like a fun trials game well... it's not. It's not even a trials game. the twist in the story was so bad you didn't even know anything about the characters so you really didn't care. hell i didn't bother to finish this garbage.

No fun. Even all the 80's-90's reference that worth this 2 points. There are missions that you have to walk and shoot and they are horrible, walking control is worse than bad.

This game is a rushed cash grab and a waste of time. It's an insult to the trials community and is clearly targeting an entirely different audience. With only one bike available, and a slew of poorly constructed, and quite frankly, very boring pseudo-platforming levels, this game manages to deliver none of the core trials experience: challenging physics-based platforming... on a motorbike.
