Vostaria: Lair Of The Forgotten has a solid amount of content, and considering the game has a very low price point, it's definitely worth the price of admission. Old-school platforming games have played a big part in gaming over the years and whenever a new game of this genre releases it's always exciting to see just what the game has to offer. This newly released old-school platformer has made its way to the Xbox One and whilst it’s not the best game in the genre I’ve ever played, the unique mechanic that’s present definitely makes it a fun and enjoyable adventure. This unique mechanic then comes in the form of you being able to jump to the roof and travel like you would on the ground and while this has been implemented in other games, this still gave the gameplay an extra layer of fun. It also makes the gameplay more challenging so if you’re somebody who gets frustrated easily beware as this game can get rather difficult. Fortunately the game gives you upgrades and better weapons to combat the difficulty and they actually do feel like they ease the difficulty curve even if using them doesn’t always feel rewarding due to the bland enemies you use them to defeat. If you love games that deliver a very retro flavor, then you’ll thoroughly enjoy Vosaria: Lair of the Forgotten. Enjoying it doesn’t cost much and when you factor in the fun content with the price point of the game you definitely get great value for your money. Thumbs up! Expand
