I have massively enjoyed this latest DLC for We Happy Few, even more so than the main game in fact.

Like the rest of We Happy Few, Lightbearer is a bit rough around the edges. It also sometimes feels like there are too many loading screens. Once its story has got its hooks in you, however, you’ll want to keep playing until you find out if Nick Lightbearer is a cold-blooded killer or not. It’s just a shame that it’s all over in two to three hours, and there’s no reason to return afterwards. But it doesn’t cost a great deal, and it’s part of the game’s season pass if you’re after yet more We Happy Few escapades.

Delve once again into the upper fueled reality but this time as a Rock-star! In this installment you get to play as Nick Lightbearer, Musician and all around groovy Guy. He's so groovy that food doesn't even work for him, if it's not Coffee, Alcohol or Drugs, it's for the squares. Ampped up on Coffee and every form of Joy imaginable, take a look at the We Happy Few world from a new perspective. Nick's even too good
for standard combat, He'd rather melt his adversaries minds with some epic rifts from his guitar! Dark, and totally uncool things are happening around Nick, and he's not even sure if he's the one doing them or not! Things look so grim that Nick even considers dropping his life of drug indulgence and partying! Unravel the mystery of these heinous crimes and find out if Nick Lightbearer is truly the culprit
of these atrocities. This installment plays in most respects just like the rest of We Happy Few with a few small differences in character ability. Just as deeply immersive and enthralling, the soundtrack and story weave together forming that odd feeling on the back of your neck that you've come to love from this game! If you loved We Happy Few, or any of the other DCL Installments, this addition to the story is a must have!
