This new experience will take you a few hours to complete and that feels like the perfect amount of time to spend in this world. It comes across as a very complete package and I enjoyed this encounter hugely; even more so than that of the main game.

We Happy Few started in the Xbox preview program and early on the game was good but short on content and after playing the base game this excitement didn’t last long enough either. Returning to the game for the first DLC in the season pass I was open minded. I’m pleased to say that the DLC feels much more polished than the base game did, and it also features a story that was entertaining throughout. The difficulty can be somewhat unforgiving at certain times, but looking past that you'll find the gameplay contains a great deal of creativity that’s evident when it comes to the puzzle designs that are present in this DLC. There’s also a few new mechanics for you to try as well, and most of these are done well with only the platforming elements seeming to fall a bit short. The combat is is also well done and throw in some fun times. The base game of We Happy Few disappointed me in some ways and elated me in others. The DLC it isn’t perfect affair and it does have a few issues along the way but I feel they’ve took a step in the right direction with the game, and I'm looking forward to the next DLC presented in the season pass for We Happy Few.
