BLACKTAIL is an RPG full of exploration, crafting, and magic. Based on Slavic Folklore, this isn’t your typical happy story; this is a dark tale full of difficult choices. It may take some time to learn how to use your bow well, but once you figure out the proper timing and technique, you will be more successful in battle.
Great story and really solid game play. its quite short but that's why its a lower price. Finally a developer who doesn't over reach. They decided kept it within their capabilities and nailed the core game! Well done!!
RPG with beautiful fairy-tale graphics and ingenious map design. Unusual solution of making morality influencing on gameplay, but it's not very inpactful. Combat is simble but good. Enemies are not very strong. Voice actors made a great job incarnating in characters. Perfectly expresing variety of emotions accroidng to situation they were in. Plot is preety dark, showing struggle and development **** protagonist. Overall solid RPG.
What a wonderful surprise at the end of the year! Blacktail, a real gem dipped in Slavic folklore, delighted me with its distinct atmosphere, engaging narrative, sense of humor, and excellent music. What did not impress me, was the combat, but as a whole the game is a fantastic experience.
Blacktail is a welcome surprise for the end of the year. Combat can come off as cruel due to the limited number of arrows and the limited dodge mechanic, but the actual firing of arrows is excellent. Boss fights feel very satisfying once you finally get a read on what they're doing, but the variable difficulty that can be utilized during boss battles can provide some relief if players are more interested in the story than gameplay. The world is the real star thanks to the grimy yet alluring presentation and the cast of characters. The side-scrolling sections after every boss fight act as neat breathers before you return to your adventure. Blacktail is intriguing overall and well worth seeking out if you love adventure games.
Blacktail is a beautiful adventure steeped in Slavic dark fantasy, though this setting sometimes sits at odds with its pan-Atlantic voice acting and script.
The Parasight's first game impresses from the start, with a fairy-tale atmosphere and a few interesting mechanics. After a while, however, various shortcomings come to light, such as repetitive gameplay and technical issues. There's a lot to enjoy here, but Blacktail won't be a revelation to finish off the year.

only worth 20 dollar

- 10 - 20 hours long.
- very repetitive gameplay, little enemies type, stupid ai, only one weapon with 3 type arrow, choices dont matter, long boring 2d sections.
-good atmosphere, Slavic folklore, mashrooms, black cat, good soundtrack, great optimized didnt get any glitch.
Not a bad story about the "Slavic" Baba Yaga with bad gameplay. I don't support Russia but I have doubts about the developer. During the time when Russia invaded the territory of Ukraine in this game you can hear a song with Russian words and "Slavic" culture. In any social network of developers, I did not find a word about the support of Ukraine, although they are from Poland. If the story about the game is interesting, the main character is written well, the voice actor played perfectly, these are all the pluses of the game. Of the minuses - the map is huge, but empty, there is no point and interest in fully exploring it. Enemies can block you and kill you without giving you a chance. In mini-games, I found several bugs because of which I had to start from the beginning. I don't like the souls like genre, but the game handled it well in terms of story and some of the battles. If you want a game with an interesting story, a huge map, and most often difficult opponents of the soul genre, then you can try it. We need to stop Russian culture in the world! Slava Ukraini! #standwithukraine
