Dec 11, 2020If you don't already own FIFA 21, we doubt this upgrade will convince you to head out and buy it. But if you're a fan of the franchise and are thinking of picking up a new console, the next-gen update might be the thing that makes you fall in love with football all over again.
-
Dec 8, 2020This is a substantial package that's propped up by exciting gameplay that puts the onus squarely on attacking football. There are moments of frustration on defense when the balance doesn't feel quite right, but then you'll go down the other end and score a Puskás Award contender that makes you forget why you were mad in the first place.

Dec 9, 2020A good soccer game with more strengths than weaknesses, loads of licenced teams and a great presentation. But while it looks better than ever it still is stagnating overall.
-
Dec 9, 2020FIFA 21 on the new generation consoles is a largely familiar experience. There are no gameplay tweaks or improvements to talk about, but it does look marginally better due to a new lighting system and more realistic player models. There’s a heightened sense of atmosphere with crowds brought to life in more detail and contextual animations of making fans and players feel less like soulless AI and more like humans.

Dec 6, 2020This next-gen edition of FIFA 21 does not have any big surprises in store for its status as a Smart Delivery title. We can of course be delighted with a much finer graphic aspect than its One / PS4 inclination and loading times now non-existent, but all the other “new features” are basically anecdotal. We are now crossing our fingers that FIFA 22 relies on this visual overhaul and disrupts its content for a real transitional episode.
