As an only Play-Now Online user, shooting is practically impossible online. There's a noticeable delay compared to 2KU, people are even missing free throws most of the time like they are prime Ben Wallace. There is no real player % for online either now.

While the shooting in park/rec could make sense, nobody is gonna remember every jumper for every player in Player Control/ Quick Match .... especially with input delays.

This is coming from a guy that always reaches GOAT tier. Don't ruin the real basketball modes for the 2nd job grind park mode.

The city and running around not playing basketball has made me despise 2K. I wish I could just play my games and all the other side crap be optional. But it's not. You must complete all these small bs missions for like 25vc before you can even play basketball in a basketball game. Pathetic

NBA 2K23 is not good, not improving graphics nor gameplay. But :

How can it get worse ? if you don't do the perfect shot you ALWAYS miss it, not joking, you can have a 87 mid range shot rating, if you don't make the perfect green, it will break the rim or the board. Come on 2K please, last year it was already awful with the easiest shooting. Now it is the opposite ??? And of

And of course, in my career, you still have to walk in this laggy city with the laggy skateboard. IT IS HORRIBLE. HOW CAN YOU FIND ANY TYPE OF ENTERTAINMENT ???

I'm mad because when i was younger i was amazed by the my career mode, when you appear in the NBA commercial ... "Where amazing happens", it was not too much. We were not trying to launch a ridiculous music career or clothes brand. We wanted to PLAY the sport we love.

Now we have this ridiculous hard game keeping all the bad aspect of the previous ones.

I won't talk about the VC, the game got doomed a long time ago

    I'm so disgusted.

(ps : YEAH a jordan career "reminder" with the Last Dance intro music . . . . . . . not enough but +2 pts for the attempt)

Minimal gameplay improvements. They've made MyPlayer even more of a grind than before. The game is more centered on microtransactions than on actual gameplay.

More drama, more micro transactions and more horrible delays in gameplay. If you love soap opera this is for you.

Worst shooting system ever. I hope nba live will come back... I will never buy a 2k series again, just because of the absolutely illogical and overcomplicated shooting system

You have to shell out at least a good $150 to experience the main game mode and it's still a mess. You have to pay real money to boost your stats in a pvp game. Games crash and it still takes your "boost" you paid for. A virtual t shirt or durag cost more than in real life. Bugs that have been in previous games just don't get fixed. 2k monopolizing has been really bad for the fans, barely any upgrades in the last 5-6 titles (besides the obvious yearly graphical updates). Details like the music or the new additions in older titles show true love for the product, while in the newest titles the bare minimum has been added , in order to milk more money out of the fans

This game has so many issues I don't even know where to begin. Honestly I think rather their be no basketball game at all than this sad excuse for a next gen game. 2Ksports has lost literally everything that made it what it was. Another thing ruines by corporate greed.

Dude So far not the worst game I played this year. Which it would up the standards on this game because the standards seem lower then low.

After playing it for several hours I get this like massive headache and my room suddenly gets really hot. It quite annoying and isn't normal for a game to happen afterwards. Coming from someone that plays other games like Shooters, Action and

You can't adjust the brightness on the game only the camera. They spend time showcase the game on consoles. But the features to adjust the lighting isn't on there. Seems this game fucus on PC users more because they have more control over there graphics.

Shooting seems to be lack luster.
For this to be a kids game it inspiration the career mode to give kids an insight on what the NBA maybe like but doesn't really offer much for Young Adults. When it comes to young men and women that want to feel inspired. Because it supposed to target a younger audience anyway by nature.

Home to some of the most immersive experiences, detailed graphics, and engaging features in the sports game industry, NBA 2K23 has set the bar of excellence for what a world class sports game is truly made of. Though its clear-cut inconsistencies across the next and current generation editions diminishes its overall potential, NBA 2K23 has still risen to the top as one of the best sports games of the year.

In the end, NBA 2K23 isn’t a perfect game. But it is the strongest, deepest, smoothest, and most enjoyable showing for the series in some time. With a little less focus on microtransactions, and a little more focus on ramping up other modes, perfection is definitely within reach in the coming years.

There is just so much to talk about, and really more worth experiencing than just reading about. Upgraded graphics with really impressive hair and skin, the ability to download the app to scan your face and put yourself into the game, and even the real contest, there's simply a massive amount of things to do. Make sure you also check out the shoe creator, which lets you design your own kicks and for your created player, give power-ups to give you that on-court advantage you have always wanted, and I absolutely love it. Definitely give NBA 2K23 a chance. Yes, the controls can be hard to learn but if you practice and work at it and do the drills, just like in real-life ball, you too can show you have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
