Unbound is everything a fan of the franchise could want and an example of how to revamp a series without losing any of the essence of what a good Need for Speed is. More than just an excellent arcade racing game, Criterion leaves players with shining eyes as they imagine how much better this could be in the future.
The story paints something that feels all too real-world with things like police corruption and right-wing smoke screening. Combined with real-world visuals of the city mixed with gorgeous graffiti-like special effects, it all mixes into a fantastic racing experience that is hard to quit. The only gripe is an incredibly slow progression system.

Deixando dinâmico e divertido, as missões de entrega timeup e de fuga ficaram interessantes implementação delas no jogo e imperceptível vc faz as questões secundarias sem nem perceber

Single player is fine but most fun is in multiplyer.

Need for Speed Unbound is one of the best entries in the series since the golden days of Underground and Most Wanted. There are tons of new changes that give the game a unique spirit and the main focus on street racing combined with a generous vehicle list make this a solid arcade racing.
Need for Speed Unbound does not reinvent the wheel, but it does tune it. Criterion Games wanted to stand out with its new artistic style and has succeeded. We are not facing the best driving game of the year, but we do see an NFS that wants the saga to return to the highest categories. Fun, fast and furious.
Need for Speed Unbound is a fun racer with some new event types and an unusual yet undeniably attractive visual style. However, it doesn't do a ton to set itself apart from other racers that are currently out there and its story mode can be quite limiting.
Put that unfairness together with the annoying tendencies of the cops in Need for Speed Unbound, and the entire experience is full of peaks and valleys that curtail the progress that this game is supposed to be making. Beyond its art style that stands tall on its own, Need for Speed Unbound feels less like an innovation and more like a new body kit installed on an old engine. When the competition is already miles ahead, what this series needed was a nitrous boost of epic proportions, but sadly, it doesn’t seem like it will ever catch up.
The best Need For Speed in a decade – but that says far more about the moribund state of the franchise than it does this workmanlike new entry.
Yes, game is unforgivable. And that's cool, you dont see any relief from developers, you have only 2 restarts per day, and cops are amazing. Time to escape is not so long, but at time you escaping, your car can be easily damaged. I really enjoyed playing this game, it's really challenging
But music can be better

A decent homage to the classics from previous generations. Make the police chases more interesting and the characters more developed, and this could be a really good game. The modification options are excellent, and the races are fantastic. It just needs a little more depth and a few wrinkles ironed out.

Decent racing game with fun driving mechanics. Make no mistake, the game's story is very weak and certainly lacks in creativity or innovation. The map is also pretty dull and is unfortunately nothing to write home about. Customization is also far too identical to the previous NFS title (Heat), but the body kits are a welcome inclusion.
With all this being said, I honestly really enjoyed the feel of the driving in this game. It is certainly an arcade-style driving experience (look to Grand Turismo if you want more realism on that front), but it can be very entertaining- the drifting mechanics in the races and the upgrades you can add to cars are fun to play around with. Certain courses offer a mixture of over-the-top driving experiences and intense finishes. The cops remain fun to engage with especially at higher heat levels, and a good amount of the game's soundtrack fits the vibe of the game quite well. The game as whole lacks too much for it to be anywhere near greatness, but for a game that is smaller in scope than something like Forza there is still a solid 25-30 hours of enjoyable racing content within.

Whoever thought to make a racing game turn into an obnoxious game of cat and mouse with the police system after EVERY race deserves to get fired and never rehired.
Why is every race turned into a cop chase? Who thought this was fun? Who thought this racing game deserves endless hordes of cops to waste 5-15 minutes of your time. Are they easy to lose? Eh.
Is it fun or necessary? Absolutely not and it hinders this game from being an OK game to just being a waste of time with no fun to be had

Game does not show most important things, but it was great idea to show which random player leaves server.
Flying NCPs, disappearing (not destroyed, disappearing) world elements. That's the worst and most expensive DLC EA ever published.
