    Syberia: The World Before is a remarkable adventure game that keeps its legacy adventure charm and is a worthy continuation of Ms. Walker’s story. It is a game that all of Microids and B. Sokal can, and should be, proud of.

    Syberia: The World Before may provide a bit of a surprise. It’s a particularly good game if you like puzzles or point-and-click adventures, whilst the story is well written and devised with some great locations and characters to meet along the way.

    After a third episode which made us fear the worst for the future of Syberia, The World Before manages to prove that the license still has things to tell and an uchronic and dreamlike universe to exploit.

    Syberia: The World Before è sinceramente uno dei titoli che più ho apprezzato durante il corso di questi mesi e che è riuscito indubbiamente a farmi emozionare e vivere un’avventura veramente eccezionale dal lato artistico ma con alcune pecche nel comparto tecnico. Sicuramente il quarto capitolo della serie di Benoît Sokal riesce nel suo intento di giocare con le emozioni del giocatore, proponendo una meravigliosa e ricca ambientazione, accompagnata da una fluida e decisa storia ed un’ottima caratterizzazione dei personaggi. I puzzle sono ottimi, soprattutto quelli che puntano sulla tecnica per la risoluzione, peccato per la facilità degli indovinelli classici, fin troppo semplici.

    Trovo quindi Syberia: The World Before le qualità per diventare un ottimo e degno sequel di una serie che si era già affermata nel mondo delle avventure grafiche ma che attraverso a questo episodio ha ricevuto la spinta in più che mancava, marciando di nuovo sopra ai passi indietro fati con il terzo capitolo.    … Expand
