The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna is a wonderfully dark walking simulator title. One of the, if not the best Bodur games available that is emotive and chilling. A beautiful world of love, friendship, and betrayal await you.
The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna is a journey of self-discovery that shows us an everyday society that is increasingly dehumanised and unfair.
The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna fails to reach the heights of other titles, it’s still worth a look. It’s a bit rough around the edges, the walking can feel drawn out and the story doesn’t quite work, but I look forward to see what Bodur comes up with next.
I’ve tried to see the good in The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna, but it just does everything in such a boring, bland, obtuse fashion that I cannot recommend anyone bother wasting their time with it. Outside of some passable music the game is just tedious and dull, and somehow even worse than the developers previous efforts. Avoid at all costs.
