Dec 13, 2020Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition is a title that is not far from the line of classic games of the genre, however, provides everything necessary to become one of the favorites of fans of ARPG games and fans of the universe of Warhammer.

Nov 30, 2020Though the characters, locales, and general lore of Warhammer were lost on me not having ever played any Warhammer before (tabletop or otherwise), this didn’t stop me from getting into the game and enjoying it. The story, characters, quest and dungeon design, and general gameplay are all pretty straight-forward and familiar, and I don’t mean that in a disparaging way. This is a good case of ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.’ If you’re looking for an expansive and fun co-op loot-gathering, combat-heavy dungeon crawler, this is a good choice, and your only choice right now for the new consoles.

Nov 13, 2020Warhammer: Chaosbane is saved by the monster-slaying action since the narrative isn't much to play for. If you can find friends to play online with this is an excellent adventure, but while solo the repetition may set in a bit too quickly.

Nov 25, 2020This next gen, upgraded version of Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer brings the fun of a Diablo-like experience to our shiny new machines. There’s a lot to play and experiment with, with a good range of characters and abilities. Fighting mechanics feel good, though easily switching weapons with the right stick in combat can feel a little too tricky at times. After a fairly standard feeling initial load, the Series’ SSD really shines in game, letting us move about in game super fast!

Nov 17, 2020Warhammer: Chaosbane was a game that doesn’t introduce anything new to the genre. It could be something good for those who appreciates this Diablo Style aPRG with a fixed camera. In this edition, the improvements to the next-gen introduces a gorgeous performance to 60fps, better graphics and resolution. But it doesn’t seems to be a game to take advantage of this hardware. Simple, but effective.

Dec 3, 2020Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition on Xbox Series X is a game that will appease its fanbase massively. With this new updated version everything feels great to play and is extremely good to look at. There is a whole load of content all packaged together, and even though a single adventurer may find repetition coming to the fore, those who can find like-minded fans to join them will discover this to be a blast.

Feb 24, 2022Game with a very cool story, very fun and with a lot to do. It also has a wide variety of weapons, but the combat is a bit repetitive.

Jan 8, 2022Game loses all progress for second player after quick resume. Makes hours of co-op kind of pointless.
