The gameplay here sucks. It is heinous, hideous, and despicable. The game's presentation, though, does shine through and makes the game bearable.
The game’s presentation is nothing less than excellent, and its graphics and sound are great too. On the other hand, the control and camera are awful, and the gameplay often fails to deliver on its lofty intentions.

An insane masterpiece ****.
Of course, being a batman game instantly raises the game rating by at least 10 points.
The graphics and ost is incredibly amazing for the Gamecube.
Not a single game can come close to this beautifully crafted piece of art.
Simply, a true hidden gem of the previous gaming era and the magnum opus of that generation.
To this day, I'm still left wondering how Kemco could come up with such a perfection and I will forever be grateful for such fond memories of my childhood.
I love you Kemco, you're the very best thing that happened in my life

The story, cinema scenes and rendered graphics are in keeping with the Batman franchise, but the game suffers greatly from its difficult control scheme. [Apr 2003, p.134]
Stay away from Batman: Dark Tomorrow like it was a greatest hits CD of Christina Aguilera songs performed on an water-swollen oboe.
When you combine the stiff gameplay, muddy graphics, and clunky movement in the game's levels, Batman: Dark Tomorrow ends up feeling like it was thrown together with half-finished components.
I think this is the most unplayable game I've ever encountered... and I've played some real crap. [June 2003, p.112]
You'll find it almost unplayable thanks to both the worst camera and control in the history of video gaming.
Excellent graphics, cut scenes, presentation, level design, voice acting, animation, boss fights, musical score. So why do i give this game a 5/10. Because the camera, and controls are so awful that you cant even enjoy everything else. This is a great game plagued by game breaking issues that ruin the entire experience.

I remember being excited about getting this game and that was about the best part of having this game. When a generation 6 3D game pushes you to 16 bit Batman Returns for Genesis you know that this game failed.
Right from the get go I just didn't get the game. Maybe it's me? No, it's probably not.. I saw a guy on YouTube smash the game with a hammer.
The graphics seemed underwhelming for this generation, perhaps they should have invested in a top development team for this game?

No tutorials when the game is complex. The controls are really bad. Graphics are good for a gamecube game. The game is hard cause it ain't playable. Plot ain't so bad but this game deserves to be skipped.

I was told to structure this in a compliment sandwich but with this game I need to leave away the bread. And what does that leave us? Just some cheese and tomatoes. Now does Batman seem like cheese and tomatoes to you? No, ofcourse not, that would be silly. But remember that that's what we are left with regarding this game. I dont make the rules. Also theres no catwoman? HUH!?!? I mean yeah they got poison ivy with some töttlä but thats not good enough. I think it is extreme to say that this is the worst game ever, I probably have the most authority of anyone here to say this, check my other reviews if you are a Debby Doubter. If I had to choose between spending 10 years in a dungeon or playing this game to completion I would have to think about it (but every action - including handcuffs - being a cutscene is pushing me more towards the dungeon).
