  1. Arguably, there are other classics that should have been included, but it's an excellent sampling and a nice blast from the past if you're interested in walking down memory lane.
  2. One element I thought was pretty nifty was the fact that the screen displays each game exactly as it first appeared. What this means is you can look to the right side of the screen while playing Dig-Dug and see your score grow and post. I know it's a little thing, but really- it does help the game feel more like you're playing an actual arcade machine than a home television.
  3. A collection of Namco's most popular arcade games from the decade of big hair, and valley-speak, is now available on your Xbox video entertainment system (Like, totally!).
  4. This package contains the major hits that most fans are after.

This is just the games: no extras, no goodies, and no style. [Jan 2003, p.90]
  6. The biggest issue most gamers will have with this package is the obvious lack of the original control input devices, like the steering wheel for "Pole Position," or an arcade-joystick for "Pac-Man."

A compilation this old and overused should have more than just some quickly ported games and a handful of awful filler titles.

Buy it, you wont regret the money you pay for it. For crying out loud its $30. But not as good as Halo.

For this reason, namco museum gets an 8/10. Its a great compilation that I’m grateful to have had growing up, but theres little reason to get this version of the compilation when there are so many other options out there. Expand
