With all that is found through out Scarface: The World is Yours, there is a huge amount of things to do and more action than you can shake a stick at.
  2. For those who dare to tug on the tiger's tail, prepare for an experience that will satiate your lust for money, power and women while simultaneously entertaining you almost every step of the way.
  3. 90
The game manages to almost perfectly capture the feeling of Scarface, and manages to improve on almost every aspect of GTA in the process.
  4. It's over the top, pumped full of action, and Tony isn't shy about dropping a few F*** bombs.
  5. I am truly amazed at the range of scores Scarface: The World is Yours has been getting. I'm guessing the low scores are coming from people who are either rushing through the game or have no prior knowledge of Tony Montana and the movie that inspired the game.
  6. Radical Entertainment did a wonderful job not only keeping Scarface close to the source material, but also creating a sequel to a movie that was never going to see a sequel.

It does a whole lot to fix many of the problems with other games in the genre, and it does an absolutely fantastic job of bring the world of Scarface to gamers.
  8. The open-ended gameplay is solid from start to finish, the production values are top notch for a current generation title, and the game just oozes charisma. You don't even have to be a fan of the Scarface film to enjoy Scarface the video game.
  9. The World is Yours captures the character and spirit of the gritty crime epic.
  10. Games Master UK
A brutal, bullish and ballsy game that manages to match the film's punch. [Dec 2006, p.86]
  11. The control scheme is solid and the balls system is an innovative way of rewarding risky maneuvers.
  12. It's every bit as profane, violent, and over-the-top as the movie, and delivers not only the gunplay you're expecting, but as much depth as almost any other game in the genre. Like the film that inspired it, it's sometimes a bit clunky, but makes up for it in bravado and style.
  13. Although it is formulaic at times and some of the set missions such as protecting a boat with a helicopter gunship while it catches sharks for a restaurant are a bit cheesy, the challenge of making more money, spending it and gaining greater power are as addictive as the white substance that makes its way up Tony's nose.
  14. It excels where it counts in the gunfights and driving sequences and has buckets of style.
  15. A worthy sequel. You get what is advertised - more of Tony Montana. If you want open ended crime gaming, get another game. This is Tony Montana you're dealing with here.
  16. The game shines in its attention to details: The licensed music from bands like Blondie and AC/DC sets the right tone, and the game's difficulty and pacing will appeal to both hardcore and casual players.
  17. So while it doesn't break new ground, Scarface: The World Is Yours is one of the best sandbox crime games for the current generation consoles. It's a slick, well-executed and gritty title that'll keep you busy for over 20 hours.
  18. AceGamez
Plenty of depth, great sound and visuals, copious amounts of unnecessary swearing, oodles of violence and an awesome central character in Tony Montana - it's not quite GTA IV but if you can't wait until next October then you should definitely say hello to this little friend!
  19. From the story, to the combat situations, to the amazing cast, you'll be hard-pressed to find another title that does a movie license (an extremely heralded movie) so much justice.
  20. Sounds good, looks good, takes about 40 – 50 hours from start to finish (plus more to complete the game 100%), it's filled with action, and is a good time for those that like being a criminal in a virtual sandbox.
  21. Scarface the game is not a classic befitting of the film, but it's an edgy, uncompromising, sometimes humorous and overall positive offering, which makes the blatant cadging from a superior game series just a bit more forgivable.
  22. A fantastic re-creation of the spirit of "Scarface," and a brilliantly in-depth urban game. A bit repetitive at times. [Nov 2006, p.60]
  23. There are some questionable gameplay choices and it can be confusing at times, but the sharp script, solid voice acting, and uncanny atmosphere show an appreciation for the source material like few movie games do.
  24. 80
A ridiculously violent, unbelievably profane game that lets you glorify yourself with virtual millions of dollars in hard-earned drug money, fast cars, boats, underlings, women and copious amounts of blood. It's a good feeling.
  25. As in the film, every other word is a four-letter one, and although the graphics can be a little choppy, the game is at least engrossing, with levels short enough to demand that they be replayed.
  26. Fans of the ultimate guy movie that is Scarface should really enjoy this game, but it doesn't add much to the crowded open-world crime game.
  27. 75
From the shoot-out at the beginning of the game to final confrontation with Sosa, this game does not disappoint on action. You may find the side missions some what boring, but selling cocaine and cussing out random people has never been more fun.
  28. They nailed Tony Montana's voice and attitude and packed a banana boat's worth of blood and violence into hours and hours of open, GTA-style gameplay.
  29. About as good as movie-to-game adaptations get.
  30. 75
Although it's an entertaining and deep game in its own right, a feeling of Grand Theft Auto deja-vu dogs Scarface: The World Is Yours at every turn. [Nov. 2006, p.94]

This is one of the best licensed games ever made and my favorite GTA clone.

I love this game. The graphics look really good. It captures the look and feel of early 1980s Miami. The soundtrack is good but not as perfect as Vice City. I love the voice acting. Every taunt is badass, funny and taken straight from the movie. The Balls Rage is one of the coolest concepts ever. The story is an altered follow up to the 1983 film and its so fun. It has side missions, drug zones, races and compounds. This game makes you feel like you are Tony Montana. This is the only game to have it's actual movie soundtrack in the game.

It is very faithful to the film.

The biggest flaws are money balancing and hit detection. The hit detection is not much of a problem depending on the gun you use. Money is the main issue as it is needed for you to build up your respect meter by buying exotics for Tony's mansion and assets that you constantly need to save up to buy them as the last two areas are the most expensive.

    Overall, I definitely recommend.

A true Masterpiece! Usually Video Games based on Movies aren't great, but Scarface The Wold is Yours is an exception. Luckily this game isA true Masterpiece! Usually Video Games based on Movies aren't great, but Scarface The Wold is Yours is an exception. Luckily this game is Backwards Compatible, I say: GET IT! It's a bit rare to find in Europe, but it's definitely worth 20-30€.

The game starts slowly and the missions get a bit repetitive, but the size and beauty of the World is amazing! You feel as if you're in the 80's. I got the game when it released back in 2006, but I don't know why I didn't finish it. Just picked it up again 3 days ago and I'm SOOO hooked! Played 15h in the last 3 days and have completed the game with 97% completion. I'm going to do the last 3% today. I used cheats near the end of the game because, it gets really really hard during the last couple of missions.

There are huge frame rate drops and the game would have profited a lot if it had anti-aliasing. I really LOVE the graphical style of the game and the sunsets... wow :)

Overall an amazing game with sooo much stuff to do 9/10
