Even with it's oversights, traveling around Springfield has never felt so real or alive and players (fans) dying to know what the town really looks like won't be disappointed.
-
If you're a Crazy Taxi or Simpsons fanatic, this game will definitely appeal to you. If you don't care much about either, don't bother.
-
While the gameplay isn't going to grab you, your Simpsons geekiness will be totally fulfilled in the amazing detail given to the tons of referenced jokes and buildings from over a decade of the show.
-
While "The Simpsons" is often entertaining and enjoyable, The Simpsons Road Rage for the Xbox is not.

Official Xbox MagazineFails to inspire but quasi-amuses. [Jan 2002]
-
Isn't that bad, but like the unpopular kid in school, it tries so hard to be something that it's not. In this case, it's trying to be "Crazy Taxi."
-
The game is arguably too simple for its own good and the result is a tedious and unimaginative gaming experience.
-
If you enjoy The Simpsons and you enjoy driving like a maniac, you'll enjoy this game, for a while. But the gimmick gets way too old way too fast to be satisfying to even the most rabid fans of the show.
-
I was hugely un-impressed. It just becomes very repetitive and boring after the first few hours, because you realize that it will never improve.
-
One word, used by Homer throughout, best describes the action in Road Rage: "Bor-ing."
