Miller demonstrates even less conviction than his writers, relying on frequent flashbacks to fill in backstory that’s not evident from the main plot and substituting CGI exteriors for actual locations. His workmanlike approach conveys the essentials without delivering many of the thrills or stylistic flourishes that the genre demands, adequately fulfilling a familiar expectation for forgettable entertainment. Generally poor acting but if you loved Michael Chiklis in The Shield then it's worth the $5 to watch him bring back the old Vic Mackey priceless acting.

This is the worst movie ever. I’m writing this review in the middle of the movie because it’s so horrible. Luckily I’m watching this at home. I’d turn it off but my husband wants to finish it since we paid $6.99. It’s ridiculous a high school play has better acting..

More like 90 minutes gone. Oh Commish! Don't fall into the geezer-teaser well. You were never shiny enough to handle that level of tarnish. I hope you got a tax write-off or something.

It’s imagining the writers typing that made me angry throughout this movie. Yeah, Bruce Willis’s performance was a performance in the worst way and it’s like he refused to do more than one take. Yes, the editing is terrible - particularly the way it leaves gaps where responses should beIt’s imagining the writers typing that made me angry throughout this movie. Yeah, Bruce Willis’s performance was a performance in the worst way and it’s like he refused to do more than one take. Yes, the editing is terrible - particularly the way it leaves gaps where responses should be quick and it’s like the dialogue is out of order. And yes the action is terrible and illogical - everything about the motel lobby scene with the woman was infuriatingly implausible. But it’s the way the writers used every cliche with pride. Including the twist. You’re watching it and you want so badly for their to be any other possible twist. Something to keep some mystery alive. But based on the terrible dialogue, you’re sure that this twist is as inevitable as it is obvious. It’s like a child who has hidden something from you behind his back. It’s poking out over his shoulder and he’s got a big smile as you make fake guesses.… Expand
