An overlooked drama that has a great cast and an interesting story. This definitely a movie that got lost in the mix of others in 1999.

A rare romantic drama that combines strong acting, a very well written script, and - what's more - a near total absence of schlock. They say all good stories are love stories; this is one that has enough depth to stand the test of time. Strongly recommended, far too easily overlooked.

Excellent and glowingly attractive cast can't quite rise above the cliched material -- although if you're a baby boomer, you'll probably enjoy the soundtrack. Of the many family-social screw-ups that took place during the summer of '69, I doubt that many were resolved so nicely!
