The worst movie I've seen in a while. There is some amazing scenery, apparently obtained with daredevil filming, but there is a complete lack of narrative, which makes for a fantastically boring film. I would classify this as a remarkable Youtube video, but I regret paying $7 for the streaming rental. It would be very suitable to use with the sound off, as moving wallpaper or in a waiting room, as long as the wait isn't longer than five minutes.
There is some terrific footage of icebergs breaking up and wicked ocean waves and then the rest is padded with some hurricane footage, the dam in Oroville, California that spilled over and then since it still wasn't long enough, they did some filming at the biggest waterfall in the world, in Venezuela. And that's the complete plot.
I've often had good success with metacritic scores, but I don't understand how this movie came to score high. If I was committed to this I'd take down the names of the critics who praised this up so I could ignore their reviews in the future.…Expand
