For the film to be about more than just wildly outrageous behavior (although those moments are the one that provoke the biggest and well-earned laughs), these have to feel like real people and we have to care about them too. You can’t make a raunchy comedy and a sentimental paean to motherhood at the same time. You have to choose either one or the other. Raunchiness or sincerity. Try to do both, and you end up with a flailing, unfunny wreck, like the mix of contradictory and self-defeating impulses that we find here. Read full review

There's plenty of humor ranging from raunchy to creative for the first 2/3. A cliche ending that's unsatisfying doesn't damper the belly laughs I had before it.

I am not sure why people complain about "misandry" in the film...thats part of the joke. Like...guys being dumb is turning the old trope of "girls being dumb" in films on its head...thus, the joke. Moms don't quit! Quitting's for dads!

It was more like a middle aged women's version of 'How to be Single'. So most of the younger audience won't get it, as well as the older people, because of the generation gap. I enjoyed it, but you know this is nothing close to any classic on theMoms don't quit! Quitting's for dads!

It was more like a middle aged women's version of 'How to be Single'. So most of the younger audience won't get it, as well as the older people, because of the generation gap. I enjoyed it, but you know this is nothing close to any classic on the similar theme, just a decent entertainer though. From the director of '21 & Over', about the three moms whose children are in the high school, but it depicts those moms struggles over maintain the order in their professional and personal life.

Mila Kunis' character is the centre of the story, but I liked Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn as well. Basically, these three ruled the narration. Some of the comedies were good, though there are too much of sexual references in that. Not good as 'How to be Single', but definitely better than both the 'Bad Neighbours' films.

It got a mixed response, but a box office hit. Most of the story is predictable, though decently developed all the scenes by keeping them simple. I mean cliché wise, but at some parts it gets loud and out of control. So make sure you are not watching for any inspiration, but the middle aged people feel more familiar with this than anybody else. Therefore, I think they're the target audience, and mostly the women.

Mostly bad, unfunny and formulaic way past a fault. The cast really deserved better. The worst things any of the moms do is drink at night and not cook breakfast every morning.

This movie is feminist propaganda, as it is becoming the norm in Hollywood.
As another review commented, the flick's only achievement is to have passed the feminist Bechdel test.
