More surprisingly, the production work is by and large excellent. Nelson Riddle's musical cues are fun, and the design still looks sleek today - I'd choose Adam West's Batmobile over Michael Keaton's any day.
The acting is uniformly impressively improbable. The intense innocent enthusiasm of Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith and Frank Gorshin as the three criminals is balanced against the innocent calm of Adam West and Burt Ward, Batman and Robin respectively.
What does tell you POW! BOOM! THUD!? Yes. Before Keaton, Bale and Affleck there was Adam West as the "not so" dark knight. The plot fells slow, senseless and klutzy; the poker of rogues lacks of personality, compared who performed them
Shot in the same campy style that characterized the TV show, all the cast members look like they are having a great time chewing up the scenery. Meredith as the Penguin and Gorshin as the Riddler are the villainous standouts.
This movie is honestly camp fun and clever, the cast are great and the fights are hilarious with the Bat-Fight words popping up when either Batman (Adam West) or Robin (Burt Ward) have hit one of the villains, it's honestly amazing. Also, the villains are great and entertaining and they never felt boring for one second throughout this movie. Honestly, it's an amazing classic slapstick movie with the Cape crusader. Also, rest in peace to Adam West, he done an amazing job playing Bruce Wayne and Batman throughout this movie, rest in peace legend.
Batman. Batcomedy batmovie. A boring and completely unforgettable comedy of the 60s. It may have been a great movie in those years, but now it looks very strange. Batman and Robin are jumping and saying almost clever things, while the enemies are running away. That's about the whole movie.
In all honesty, this film is unbearable to watch. The pacing is absolutely boring, it's not funny, the characters are stupid, it's extremely cheap in its production, the acting is either bland or annoying, the exposition is some of the worst I've ever seen in a movie, and has to pause every 5 minutes for some stupid, forced PSA.
In the film, Batman says "Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb." Well, here's hoping I'm rid of this one.
