The battle in Battle: Los Angeles is grab-the-armrest tense until the last seconds.
Unfortunately, screenwriter Christopher Bertolini has given Eckhart and Liebesman a story so riddled with war-movie cliches that it contains almost nothing else.

its 2014,i only saw part of this movie,and find it absolutely chilling,this is how it may happen,with the goons
who listen on 21cm and attempt to contact aliens,this is what could happen,i've often wondered what a lot
of funny interference on short wave radio was,and you simply dont know,the critics,what do they know,nothing except their bank **** one knows whats out there but this could happen.excellent movie.

The so-so film isn't nearly as good as any of the movies that may have inspired it, or even its own knockout trailer.
It's a film of noble sacrifice and "good deaths" but surprisingly few chuckles.
This silly extraterrestrial-invasion epic somehow manages the feat of making the destruction of La La Land seem tedious.
Except for the relentless, jittery way that the film has been photographed, there's nothing of interest going on in it. It's all fractious guerrilla-newsreel "style" masquerading a void.
This one isn't original, or even bearable. By its thudding end, audiences may wish they could be zapped from the theater to escape the buzzing in their ears.
This was a fabulously great movie. The CG could had been better for the land aliens, other then that, this was a excitingly awesome movie. I love the part were they made it to base and they loaded their weapons instead of eating and calling it quits. Plot was excellently provided at the right given time. Great movie about spirit, faith and honor. The sound is stupendous in Doby Digital 5.1. I cringed on each up close explosion, So realistically timed and dramatically played.

Better than expected action-sci fi invasion movie. I genuinely enjoyed it, cliche riddled as it is. Eckhart shined in this underrated popcorn friendly flick

Breaks no new ground but its does alot of things right and is a solid, albeit unspectacular sci-fi/action flick. Aaron Eckhart provides a strong presence for a totally underdeveloped cast of characters with no real plot other than your basic "survive" element. Nonetheless, if youre a fan of the genre, then this film is for you.

ist ziemlich schlecht, Aaron Eckhart möchte nach the dark knight zurück kehren, doch der Film ist langweilig, ich bin sogar kurz eingeschlafen, dabei sollte eine Alien Invasion spannend sein. Die Charaktere jucken nicht, und die Action ist gestreckt, auch die Aliens waren eine Enttäuschung, kein besonderes Design, einfach nichts originelles. Technisch ist der Film jedoch gut, er sieht gut aus und die Effekte sind toll, doch das macht nicht mal einen mittelmäßigen Film
