A horror film that’s a true triple threat: stunning, smart and wildly entertaining.
Depending on your demographic, Bodies will probably either make you feel seen or utterly obsolete. But it's also just straight-up fun: a black-hearted comedy of manners meets contemporary social nightmare, written in blood and vape smoke.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is one of those movies that wins you over scene by scene, before sealing the deal with its marvelous, ludicrous ending. See it with a group of friends you love. Or even just low-key resent.
It’s the rare film that can match the vapidity and venom of "Bodies Bodies Bodies," a combination that’s both toxic and entertaining. There are many influences — “Mean Girls,” “Gossip Girl,” “Scream,” to name a few — but "Bodies Bodies Bodies" takes all of these influences and creates an original spin for the social media age.
A fun, inverted single-location thrill ride, director Halina Reijn creates one rainbow swirl of a good time.
Bodies Bodies Bodies feels like A24 trying to suck up to the cool kids––a vapid, perhaps successful attempt to reel in a contemporary influencer crowd. Enjoying it feels partially dependent on one’s familiarity with celebrity pop culture, the intricacies of tabloid news, and the ever-evolving landscape of political correctness.
The movie is never funny, scary, spooky, or interesting. Bakalova and Davidson are trying their best but cannot buoy the picture. Badly lit, poorly shot, and sporting even worse dialogue, the film offers nothing to anyone, though it thinks it has something important to say. Pretentious and dull is the worst combination.

But wow... This movie is a fun one, despite using a considerably predictable plot.

Limp satire of Generation Z that has its moments albeit few and far between. The characters are vapid and toxic and live on their cellphones (yawn). More (or better) humour could have made this work - see 'Search Party'. As it is, nobody cares what happens to this dull group of half-baked narcissists, and that's a problem - are we supposed to applaud when they're knocked off? A conventional setup with a good ending and competent execution that cries out for a wittier script.

I am surprised that it has so high ratings from some or other sites. I found it quite dumb and boring overall - before I watched it I thought it will have some more funny satire or jokes about current climate, but felt just dumb. And I actually like Pete Davidson, so yeah.
