Mr. Mercer’s character doesn’t attract sympathy comparable to that for Ms. Townsend’s (Ms. Lore’s Harper fares better), but there is no holding back on the worms, dermatologic nightmares, venereal-disease metaphors and hints of future sequels. Is a great horror movie. There are some scenes that may cause nausea in sensitive people. The idea is not new, but holds your attention until the end.

I loved this film. More than I did the first. I've always found it interesting to see how the infection takes hold on a day by day basis. What I got in this film was that, a sinister plot, and more. I don't want to spoil it but the ending had my very excited for a future sequel. I like whereI loved this film. More than I did the first. Very solid body horror with some gruesome practical effects but in order to fully enjoy it you have to see the first one - also recommended if you are the fan of the genre. Plus if you are zombie movie fan, this is basically a close look at the zombie outbreak start.

So so pointless. Doesn't even try to build on the basic nothingness of the first. Nothing remotely engaging here except some of the icky special effects.
