"Not surprisingly for a movie of this type, there are lots of scenes of violence, including hand-to-hand combat. The fight choreography is exceptional. In the “John Wick” movies, the violence seems almost like a ballet. The protagonist actually restocks ammo from victims or uses their weapons which is not commonly seen, I found it to be excellent, I highly recommend it for action fans especially...… Expand

First, It borrows heavily from Man On Fire, even down to the colour filters. Story is also very similar, A broken man with nothing to lose takes a rescue mission to save a drug-barons son, kidnapped by his rivals. A seemingly easy mission goes wrong, and the two has to fight their way out of a locked down city. Seems original? well It is not. However it is largely carried by Hemsworth and Randeep Hooda who does a great role. But there is little character development going on.
on a large scale it is backed up by very close quarter tactical combat action. Other than this, there is not much to say about Extraction. It is a good filler for Sunday.… Expand

In a lot of ways this was an unsurprising movie with some great gun-fu ala John wick stylee. It was fun to watch, I just wish more time had been spent on the cliche plot and characters. Just read a sequel is on the way so hopefully they can take the time to put some more interesting flesh on the barely thought out bones of Hemsworths weakly written Rake. At least Maclane was having a bad day and someone killed wicks dog...… Expand
