Fauci makes no pretense about where its sentiments lie, lauding a figure whose critics have seemingly twisted his image beyond recognition in their attempts to demonize him.

Fauci is a great man and this was an enlightening documentary. Love love love love love love love it! Thank you Fauci!

If you pay attention to the world at all, you will see this is just a big propaganda piece. If you don't you may enjoy it. The directing, editing and overall flow are well done, but the content is crap and shows the disconnect between professional reviewers and normal people.

The strength of Fauci is its underlying theme, which is really not about Fauci at all. Hoffman and Tobias jump back and forth in time, from the AIDS to Ebola to the COVID years, and surreptitiously a portrait emerges of the uneasy relationship between the scientific community, the general public and the political establishment.
It’s a documentary that merits a place in classrooms as well as theaters, as a preventative against the virus of cynicism.
More informational than revealing, John Hoffman and Janet Tobias’ documentary makes the case that in times of great uncertainty concerning mysterious diseases, calm reason and unassailable science are our staunchest allies — two assets the 80-year-old immunologist possesses to ample degree.
Viewers are spared by the tender mercies of biodoc tropes, as “Fauci” puts a pin in the action to wind back the clock and walk us through how its subject came to develop such an adamantium shell.
Fauci is at its best when it draws parallels between the pandemics that define Dr. Fauci’s career. It vexes when it leans on straightforward biography
It is absolute trash. I don’t think a public servant should allow this kind of things to be made about him especially knowing how corny it will be and the will say good things about him.

A fluff piece that almost seems to border on propaganda, trying to prop someone up who has a declining reputation based on his numerous public flip-flops. No doubt his earlier work is to be commended but recently it would seem that maybe greed or a personal agenda has led to some dubious decisions and I would think that further investigations might cloud an otherwise promising career. As a "movie", this is something I could have easily avoided due to the at-times blatant and unnecessary propaganda and his arrogance shines through more than necessary at times. “Attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science.” If this doesn't show the ego of the man, then I don't know what does.

Hard to watch. Nothing you haven't already seen on legacy media. Brainless, lazy and completely uncritical. National Geographic used to be a scholarly journal. Showing it's true colors now with yellow journalism.
