There are too many gaps in the cross-generational/cross-gender appeal for the movie to emerge as one of the 2019 summer movie season’s big winners. This score is based on exactly what the movie is supposed to be. You don't see this movie in hopes of being moved by the actors performances. You don't see this movie for the overall story. This isn't a Shakespeare play. This isn't Driving Miss Daisy. It's GODZILLA. Grab a big bucket of popcorn, sit back and enjoy the movie for what it is. Just plain fun

While I'm generally happy with most of the movie like the soundtracks, the battles, and especially the monsters, this one is less memorable than 2014 Godzilla. While having more screen times, 2019 Godzilla fails in making impact such as the first time it unleashed the atomic breath back then. I can absolutely said that the main cinematic MVP in this movie is Mothra, not the Godzilla itself.… Expand

I think that it was a good film, but yet again during the action sequences it cut to the humans too much. I WANT TO SEE SOME MONSTER FIGHTS! The shots where it is from the monster perspective is amazing, but besides that the other actions is sort of meh.

I would need some cash in advance and some alcohol to muster the strength to watch this another time. I never watched a movie and rooted for the antagonist. The Next time I watch this, I'll probably be busy getting skull**** by my sugar daddy, as that is a better alternative tbh. The only redeeming quality was the 30 minute graphic sex scene between Godzilla and Mothra. My gay friend defends this movie, but I don't think it's that good.… Expand
