As a closing chapter in the tale of Hiccup and Toothless, The Hidden World ends this portion of the tale on a satisfying note.
This trilogy secures our respect as a crowning achievement in animated cinema that should stand the test of time.
The trouble with the film is that this animal love story also saps some of the franchise’s main strength, which has always been the almost pet-like relationship between humans and dragons.
Despite the visual splendor of this movie — the beautifully animated creatures and elegantly imagined settings — what will ultimately determine whether you respond to this final How to Train Your Dragon is how well you remember the earlier entries. For some, it’ll be a moving conclusion to an epic series. For others, it’ll be one less kids’ franchise to worry about.
All the fire and lifeblood of this idea has been sucked out and we are left with something bland.
Funny at times and emotional at others. It's an enjoyable movie but nothing all too inventive.

Such a crushing dissapointment. I love the idea of this movie, that sometimes to protect what we love means letting it go, but as the final chapter to the HTTYD it falls flat. It betrays the well established themes of standing up for our beliefs and striving to create a better world which had been present since the first film.

only reason i had to watch it was love between toothless and light fury and only things i like about this episode is hiccup's wedding with astrid i was waiting for it since 2010 and some scenes were like first episode and also soundtracks from 2010 were amazing but at end i hate it and never watch again what kind of end was that end "we should separate friends because there is enemy and it isn't important we can defeat that enemy" it's not sane at all ):
