Interceptor is about putting on a show, and Pataky has the muscular charisma to carry it.
It is such an old-fashioned action film that it practically plays like a discarded Chuck Norris script, just with some modern gender politics and social issues in play (although someone like Cynthia Rothrock could have easily headlined almost exactly the same film in the ‘80s).

Powerfully performed by Elsa Pataky with a spark of spunk and charm, Interceptor is thrillingly underrated and is action driven with muscular attire.

Of course it’s a Die Hard clone, so don’t expect anything original, but it works thanks to its captivating lead performance and a nice setting. I had a good time!

While it’s not going to make a star of Pataky or anyone watching a sudden convert to Netflix’s mockbuster oeuvre, it’ll make for a decent summer snack until something better lands.
Interceptor checks all the boxes in terms of making an action film that will grab the audience's attention, have one root for the hero, and let out a few chuckles (especially for one horribly done cameo) before promptly forgetting the movie exists.
The fun is not always contagious, even for someone like me who grew up reading Tom Clancy’s wonky Cold War fantasias.
A cut-rate cast, green director and a script so bad it wouldn’t attract betters actors or directors is no way to rebuild public confidence in your business, or its “Netflix Original” movies.

This is good thriller this is a real feminist. There seems to be everything good in the Resident Evil and Cube series and movies like that in this movie. The actions are all right. Story have some lacks but generally good.

Decent or mostly okay. Elsa Pataky is a good and likable lead for this kind of film with plenty of good action and a mostly original premise. The bad guy in this film (Luke Bracey) is one-note with almost no characterization and mostly throwaway dialogue that feels like it was taken from some 90s action film. The CGI is also spotty at times and feels very low budget in some sequences. "Interceptor" isn't a bad film, all in all, it's a decent throwback to 90s action movies with a likable lead and a few (very) funny cameos by Chris Hemsworth.

Marital matters: Chris Hemsworth has been married to Elsa Pataky since 2010 and they have three children together. To help his model wife's career, Chris invents a B movie directed by a stranger, is its executive producer and appears in it as the laid-back salesman at a big box consumer electronics store. The product falls within the Netflix standards and the particularly delusional script will make it hard to forget.

Not only american - one man show - hero-pattern, it is a one woman show which doesn't give any reasons for watching this movie.
It's the typical catastrophic film with enough budget, but without ideas. That's no problem for me, action is despite comedy the only reason for watching movies.
But that amount of feminism references is too much, half of it would have been sufficient.
The producers forget why people watch this kind of movies, just dumb action without political activism.
So it's really a bad movie, but it's enough action to watch it once and regret it later.
