It Comes at Night is pretty terrifying to sit through, but it may be even scarier after it’s over, when you sift through what you’ve seen and try to piece together what it may have meant.

What an absolute treat of a movie this is. You can almost feel the atmosphere. Easily a contender for movie of the year.

Mysterious and intriguing, yet so simple in concept from start to finish. All the actors are given equal opportunity to shine and they make perfect use of it on-screen. It Comes At Night is an absolute delight that will leave you shocked and eager for more after its quick, ninety minute run-time flies by. Two thumbs up for writer/director Trey Edward Schults.

Earlier, I thought this movie was about family encountering ghosts or supernatural activities at night but after watching it I found out that it was a psychological survival drama. Movie's genre is horror but I didn't find the film scary. The story was also not particularly fresh in what it was presenting. The acting was fine but I came into the film expecting something great, which it wasn't. Overall, it is a normal psychological survival drama which you may or may not watch. Doesn't matter!

It was intriguing and well acted. Maybe a bit overrated and the trailer indicates a very different movie than the actual result.

When me and my girlfriend sat down to watch this we were very excited. As we had good things about this movie. All I can say without spoiling it, nothing really happens and was a waste of an hour and a half. Plus its honestly just artsy rubbish.
