It's the dialogue heavy sibling to "Vol. 1", explaining and tying up all the loose ends with Tarantino's pretty punches of dazzling action and a refreshing climax. "Vol. 2" slightly etches out "Vol. 1" because I found its dialogue more magical than its radical style and it works better with having "Vol. 1"'s events kept as a mystery while it quickly recaps those events in its introduction. Honestly though, you shouldn't just see "Vol. 2" and call it quits. The two films are inseparable and play up each other's strengths to create a synergetic piece of adoring fiction.
Bout No. 2 is among the best closed-quarters screen fights ever, as good as (and longer than) Frank Sinatra vs. Henry Silva in The Manchurian Candidate. And Hannah does more for an eyepatch than anyone since the late Israeli defense minister Moshe Dayan.
Watching Thurman's character "triumph" in a context as joyless and self-referential as Tarantino's is a soul-deadening experience, one that over two hours takes on the same dreary monotone as the cheapest pornography.
If Part 1 Is For Action Movie Lovers ! This Is For Drama Lovers ! Acting Of Uma Thurman Is GOOD ! The Character Bill Shows Evil At Its Peak ! His Dead Was A Bit Dissapointing ! Not Only Him , Everyone Who Died In This Film ! Scenes Of Pai Mei Is Really Good ! I Expected More Blood But It Was Less ! The Bride's Daughter Is One Of My Favourite Twist In The Screenplay ! Everyone's Acting Was Good There ! An Average Tarrantino Film
I feel as though Tarrantino's wasted his own and the actors talents. Unlike most of his movies the films talky scenes are boring and stupid. I loved the rest of his movies but Kill Bill vol 2 just ****.
Such a ridiculous movie, just like the first part: There were so many cheap situations, especially the fights.. Who cares about women "fighting"? Did you notice also how often people were saying how beautiful the main character was? I find her ugly btw. So these scenes were ridiculous for me also.
The plot itself is unrealistic of course. Yes sure, a 50kg women is killing so many warriors, even male. Feminist fairy tale. Speaking of feminism. I like the revelation why Bill tried to Kill Beatrix. He did the right thing, he was the victim, not Beatrix.
