I actually really liked this movie - lighthearted and funny, everyone in our full theater was laughing! the stars do a great job and the movie has a great summertime feel - ignore the reviews and go see this one, you won't be sorry!

License to Wed has a decent premise and a solid cast, but thanks to a flailing script and Ken Kwapis sugar coated direction the whole affair ends up as appealing as stale wedding cake.

When it tries to be serious, it still fails because we don't care about the characters. We don't care if they get married or not. License to Wed doesn't try to be much. But whatever it is trying to be, it's failing miserably.
