While there are flaws in some of the segments, it is overall a fantastic production that manages to be creepy as hell. For fans of anthologies, these directors, and horror in general, this is a great ride.
Nightmare Cinema as a whole is the bloodiest, most violent, most gruesome and most twisted movie I’ve seen this year. And I mean that mostly in a good way.

I'm not going to give this movie a bad rating as this was actually a really great movie. The critics probably did not get it. Its a lot like black mirror actually with different scenes with a twist in all of them. I really enjoyed this movie. Creepy and twisted. Loved it.

Now, Garris’ unflagging enthusiasm for uplifting his fellow creators has found a new manifestation: Nightmare Cinema, a sort of sideways revival of the Masters Of Horror franchise.
The anthology justifies Mick Garris’s passion for horror, though he ironically proves to be one of his project’s liabilities.
If there are no outright duds, there’s no real triumph either. But the whole is certainly diverse, lively and reference-packed enough to please horror fans attracted to this kind of enterprise.
As midnight movies go, it’s not (more than) half bad. Round up some friends for a midnight movie date, designate a driver and…enjoy.
A horror anthology consisting of five episodes by different directors with more imagination than skill, Nightmare Cinema will make you scratch your head more than your goosebumps. Each story is designed and determined to scare the living daylights out of you, but I promise you more yawns than screams.
If you've been aware of Nicolas Cage's career in the last 15 years, you will perfectly know about how the quality, quantity and themes of his films are variable and questionable.
Now with that knowledge, if you read the synopsis or watch the trailer of this film, you will know very well where you're getting yourself into.
So it only remains to say that your enjoyment will depend entirely on whether you like the style, humor and violence of it, or if it's just not your thing.
Willy’s Wonderland doesn't offer something else, nor it tries, so it's ridiculous to ask for it.

First couple of sequences were decent but it got really boring really fast. The car accident kid and the priest stories are hard to remember since it could not hold my attention. I watched this as it was recommended on a popular horror film forum. Lesson learned: no more recommendations from there.
