I had modest expectations about the movie based on the reviews, but my husband and I really enjoyed it. We thought the movie was well written and acted, and it dealt with some difficult subjects in a very realistic way. A film that softly reminds through its humor and raw dialogue that the small things get us through the toughest times, and that life - tragic, wonderful, fleeting life - is for living.
A typical Sundance drama that hits all the usual notes. The ending worked but a lot of the film felt like it was drudging along. I just couldn’t connect to the film.
