This is a dark and powerful psychological thriller that dives into the darkest depths of the human psyche. The twists in the tale and the amount of manipulation of emotions has made this one of my favourite thrillers to date. Well worth a watch.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. An interesting little thriller, Pet achieves such an interesting and unique story with such a limited room. This movie crafts a plot filled with mind-blowing twists and turns, psychological fears, and twisted visions about complex love. But still the movie is limited and it eventually shaves down to a predictable somewhat disappointing ending. But still a treat for thriller lovers and twisted lovers!… Expand

The first hour was actually good and interesting, but it all goes downhill after he killed the security guard. This movie tries so hard to play with it's plot twist that it becomes difficult to identify if it helped the overall plot or sank it.

The secret life of being somebody's Pet!

The last time I saw Dominic Monaghan was pretty impressive in 'The Millionaire Tour'. This film was not bad. But it kind of reminds other titles like 'Tusk', 'Eyes of my Mother' et cetera. Only thematically. The screenplay should have been improvedThe secret life of being somebody's Pet!

The last time I saw Dominic Monaghan was pretty impressive in 'The Millionaire Tour'. This film was not bad. But it kind of reminds other titles like 'Tusk', 'Eyes of my Mother' et cetera. Only thematically. The screenplay should have been improved by extending more dramatic events. At present, it was simple, though the twists were the saviours. Not the mind blowing twists, but for a small storyline like this, everything justified. I liked how film characters switched nature of their roles while story progressing. That was nicely designed characters for a thriller which added a bit of mystery flavour.

The character Seth was really interesting one. Drawing a story out of him lacked depth in the later parts. Especially after the first twist revealed. The second half was unexpected, but also that's where the narration stared to fall off the track. One of the reasons was predictable. Though enjoyable film, until the finale. I thought it was overall a better film than I expected, but the end was not any good. Too cliché. You can easily spot they are interested in a sequel, so they kept it open. But closed conclusion would have made it a decent film.

This movie is terrible. The narrative it tells is contrived and deliberately demonic with no cultural value. You would benefit more from reading the back of a cereal box than watching this demented movie try to carve out relevance from an utterly ridiculous plot and mission.
