Summary: 16-year-old Cyd (Jessie Pinnick) decides to take a break from her depressive single father and spend a summer in Chicago with her aunt Miranda (Rebecca Spence), a well-known novelist. Princess cyd is a very warm and generous movie accompanied by smart and relatable characters.The things which standout in this movie are fine performances,smart and meaningful dialogues,cinematography
background score and last but not the least fine storytelling.But it has got its ebbs inPrincess cyd is a very warm and generous movie accompanied by smart and relatable characters.The things which standout in this movie are fine performances,smart and meaningful dialogues,cinematography
background score and last but not the least fine storytelling.But it has got its ebbs in the form of less dramatization of pivotal moments in the film and and an abrupt ending to the fine flow of events from start up until the very last moments.The joy dont lie on what we would do what we want to do but on what we would do what comes naturally to us,this message of the film brings a huge impact on me and i fell in love with this movie.Overall I have somewhat unique and fine cinematic experience with this movie.So must watch.… Expand

It's a coming of age story for the young character, and a rediscovery story for the adult character.

Their interactions don't seem entirely plausible because there are moments where everything feels too idealistic, and their talks don't have the required depth, but even so, it seemed like aIt's a coming of age story for the young character, and a rediscovery story for the adult character.

This is quite a nice film, not too sexual so not especially graphic. I liked the way the friendship built between the two main characters. Its quite dialogue heavy but I liked it. The gay theme is covered in a sensitive way, in that it didn't feel exploitative or anything like that to me. IThis is quite a nice film, not too sexual so not especially graphic.
