Love how they took the movie in such a different direction knowing that most of today's players are online. Jane Lynch and Fix it didnt play as much of a role, but Wonder woman was a great addition to the cast. Expand

I find this film to be very underrated. I think it’s a blast! Super fun and quite emotional when it wants to be.

I'll review this from 2 perspectives:The child audience and the mature audience

For the child audience, this movie honestly feels like "just another Disney movie". It has the usual twist, friendship ruining and pretty much the usual for a Disney movie.

It is the little things that actually made me laugh. The first 3 quarters of the movie depicted the Internet almost flawlessly. It ranges from the *annoying* popups to YouTube's algorithm to even the infamous comment section. The only minor mistakes they made were the cat videos (which died a few years ago)

Regarding the Disney princesses, I feel they were there just to be there although to be fair I also wouldn't know how to make them anymore interesting in the movie.

So why can't I go any higher? Because in the end, I personally find it to be based on the usual Disney themes which is pretty Mich the same old thing. They had a perfect opportunity to do something new with the given setting but instead used the usual formula. I hope Disney can experiment more instead of resorting to using the same old formula

With all of this said, I still highly recommend this movie (especially if you can pick up all the internet references)

After all we're talking about Disney and this is a huge film for them, but frankly although I was entertained and I wasn't disappointed, this sequel feels disposable and with that word I don't mean that its quality is bad or that its quality is disposable
The problem is that I failed to see or feel any relevance in the story. It feels quite forced and reached a certain point the film becomes just a mere product placement exercise even beyond the emotional message behind it.

The film is fun, the kids will definitely love it. Mainly because kids now know perfectly the internet world and all its ways, but the truth is that to me it didn't feel superior to the first one in any department or level and in the end it only remains as what it's now: A novelty but ultimately I think it will become a irrelevant sequel within the Disney catalogue.

Puff...bastante decepcionante, la verdad. La primera es bastante mejor. Una película de animación más.
